When I saw the Paper Artsy posting I knew exactly what to do!!!
Some time ago after I read the Seth Apter posting I used a Caterina Giglio idea for an ATC.
I needed to revisit this idea again!! I thought that hidden objects are certainly in this style.
So once again I sorted out my old books from Paris ...... I found an image in a French Dictionary I thought would be appropriate and added some watercolour to the image. I adhered it to my ATC base and put to one side to dry.
Once dry, I added some of the pages from a Greek book, also bought at the French Market. After spritzing them lightly with shimmer, I folded the pages and attached them to the card, using a glue stick. Using the glue stick meant I could fold the paper back to reveal parts of the image.
I stamped the words onto the card using small letters - I'm not very good at stamping and this was a new set of stamps. I thought they would be easy to use as they were 'peg' stamps .... WRONG!!!!
Looking at this image, I wonder just when all this scene would have been the norm ..... such a long time ago .....
PaperArtsy what are you doing to me?
My Artworks to Inspire and encourage and. . . . a bit of this . . . . and . . . . a bit of that . . . .
