What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.
First off .... my apologies to everyone for not managing to visit many desks last week. We have been very busy since we arrived back from a fab workshop with Julie ..... but tomorrow .... R & R! yeah!
My various escapades will be posted across my three Blogs......
But for today we have a desk to look at .....
one desk with....
?what? on top?
One acrylic block and three elastic bands resting on a large piece of paper.
I have just finished experimenting with a new technique .... one for my June card swap .... actual swap card will be posted on Cardius Bloggus Blog later.
The technique is 'Elastic Band' - wrap elastic bands round the block and use as a stamp to print .... simples!
I used pink, red and two shades of blue DI and one grey as a second colour.
I did try to finish a card so I could show you all the end result so ...... ta dah!
Pretty impressive huh!?!
so that's my desk for today ..... and I can assure you that I will be visiting other desks, and catching up, over the next few days.
Have a good week, catch you all later ......
My Artworks to Inspire and encourage and. . . . a bit of this . . . . and . . . . a bit of that . . . .

ReplyDeleteGreat fun technique for stamping, Christine. I am getting interested in mark making at the moment and finding lots of ideas on Pinterest, and this one came up. Thank you for your visit - you've got it right, we are cat slaves, and they will definitely be the mistresses of our life from now on!! I can't wait to see them for the first time tomorrow - we will have to wait till the end of July before they will be big enough to come home with us. My hubby is worried that the kitty tree is too big for them and they won't even be able to reach the first platform but I think they will be rampaging all over it straight away! We've never had anything on this scale for our previous kitties. Plenty of photos and videos will follow, I guarantee it!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

Very cool technique - I may try it on one of my index cards! Thanks for sharing! Lindart #35
ReplyDeleteYour technique looks fun! Wouldn't dare try it mupyself as Dino is a devil for running off with elastic bands, which he then throws in the air, then picks it up and does it again - an odd game for a cat! Have a great week, hugs, Lynne #46
ReplyDeleteI thought about trying the rubber band thing. After seeing your great results I will have to try it! I love that stencil on your desk with the two hands making a heart. So cute!
