The Desk
Bit boring but I am 'shopping my stash' at the moment as I try to clear my studio of paaaperr! These are some booklets from Making Cards magazines which are 'several' years old . . . . I am slowly working my way through them I am pleased to report.
On the left some dies, purchased from the FruitPixie, I know I only wanted some ATC bags but . . . .
on the right, instructions for a Fracture Card. I just love making these, and I can use up a few bits from the books in the process.
I am still struggling with my breathing but my mental outlook is much more positive. I am slowly, can't move around much, organising processes and continuing to knit and crochet.
I have made quite a few teddies, the old patterns . . . . . and a new one . . .
but I'm back to the baby clothes for the Prem Unit at our local hospital again for a change . . . . and some new wool!
I hope to be able to visit your desks today although it will be a busy day . . . . no change there then!! lol

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page. Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem!
LOL! That minion quote is epic indeed. Love it. I have been on a cardmaking kick recently and like the ones that use up paper and scraps most. Your teddies are very cute. Been a while since I did much charity knitting - I really should get back to it. Why is it Wednesday ends up being the busiest day of the week?? Doesn't the universe know that it's WOYWW day?? :D
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteSorry about your breathing. That is a real problem that impacts on everything you do or want to do. I hope it doesn't stop you getting to the crop. It is always so nice to see you there. Is there anykchance you will be attending?
ReplyDeleteI've had several fractured cards sent to me but have never made one as yet. Might just have to rectify that one. Love your teddies, some little ones will have a great time playing with them.
Take care
Hugs, Neet 13 xx

ReplyDeleteAh! Ah! I have those papers too and I've been trying to use them up. They are nice but they got stored away and now I'm trying to use them up. It's got to be "Use it or lose it". The teds are lovely and I'm sure will be much loved. Wishing you a very happy woyww, Angela x8x

ReplyDeleteOh I think I'll join you with the popcorn, what an epic out that would make! Glad to know you're feeling more and more lifted gal, the breathing, well, you have to do it, so you have to go at a pace to suit it! Love the knitties, how sweet they are, and a change is as good as a rest in terms of what you make!
ReplyDeleteOK still giggling at the Minion pic on your screen.... great to have a sense of humour in these things. Love how you are shopping your stash but those dies look great too, good buy. Super teddies as well. I'm glad your mental health is more positive despite the health issues. We were discussing HOPE in church group last night and our eternal hope is so much more than our present condition. Gentle Hugs BJ#11
