 Well, I wish I could say that it was all the excitement last week that caused the fall, but  . . . . I can't.  

I have displaced my hip, that's a new one . .  what the nurses really meant was that all the fat above the point of impact was pushed upwards!!! 

I don't know how it happened, well  . .  yes . . . sort of . . . I lost my balance and hit the corner of a low brick wall, I felt it enter . . . . ugh!   I am getting about a bit now and, as soon as I am able, I will update and show graphic photos!  ha! ha!  there's something to look forward to!  lol

So I have no desk photo to show, but the ATC swap has made me very happy and brightened each and every day.

I could just about manage to type on my phone and stay in touch, I have damaged my right hip so have to lay on the left . . . as I'm lefthanded that's a bit of a  . . . . . . struggle.

 The 13th year!

I've been here since 2013 . . .  January 16th to be exact.

Amazing facts and figures!!

I have been all over the place since my last visit . . . . . . no change there then . . . . .

Lots going on here . . . .

A card to send.  Not my favourite type but Steam Engines attract a lot of nostalgia . . . . . not much young blood in among it all.  Steam is a novelty, history and, like history, memories fade . 

ATCs in the making, NOT for the celebration . . . . . you can't see them or they wont be a surprise!  I hope to have a couple of spares so if you want to swap with me . . . . just let me know in the comments.

I've been fixing something so the bead box is still out . . .  I'll show you what it was later . .

I have found a stash of VHS (remember those?!) tapes and think I have found a couple of when PJ and I were in Africa.  Anyhoose, I have had them put onto DVD . . . . . I hope to be watching them soon . . .

 My desk has moved!

Well, ok . . . . this work has been going on since the end of February.  I am having to use a hoe so it takes rather a long time, but slowly, slowly, half an hour at a time and lo! it was done!

DDC and the boys came and moved all the excess earth for me, it was so good to be out with them . . . . they worked, I watched!!  

Next week it will be here . . .

Do I here you asking about chickens?  No more!  My garden is back!  It looks slightly different as I have had to accommodate all the paths that were set in when this was a chicken run.  I will miss my lawn but as DDC says "it is what it is".

Not a lot of crafting has gone on during this time. It is very much a case of work for half an hour and then lie down for an hour while my sweet darling heart recovers!!

The pleasure I get when I look out of my kitchen window, only a fellow gardener will understand.  I am sure that for me it is the best medicine I could have.

Hopefully now that the bulk of the work is done, I can potter to my hearts content and even . . . . even . . . sit outside and stitch!

When I worked I dreamt of retiring and sitting outside stitching . . . . . have I?  

Not even taken it out of the bag!
