Such fun has been had with this theme!?!?!!!
I already had ideas for the cards before I mentioned it to PJ .......... always has to put his two pennyworth in...... rather a good idea actually..............
Back to Google I go and find a horse that fits the phrase........... just couldn't find red shoes to fit!!!
Wellies will do just as well, nice pretty ones of course!!!
I used felt tips to colour him and a remnant of 'trees' paper for the background. I printed out the words using a 'Jokerman' font, the first time I have used a pictorial font ....hhmmm...... might try those out in future.
This vintage picture was vaguely colour washed and then I painted gold and silver from an inkpad along the trim on her dress and his saddle. After I printed out the sentiment I close cut it and gave it a colourwash so it had a vintage look to it.
I washed the background paper with pink and then it ran into the digi! Can you believe it?!?!?!? ............. and after I had attached the green 'grass'.
This is a WHITE horse .......... as soon as I saw it prancing away I just knew ......... white... not pink and white.
Found a white gel pen so I 'coloured' the horse in and then added the sentiment. Beautiful!
UPDATED 24.08.2013 to show my wonderful return swaps.........
I tried photographing this card at different angles to show of the pyramage - it is sooo different.
