UK ATC March Monthly Swap

I love this swap as it gives me chance to make 3 (or 4) cards on a theme of my own choice.  I used some of the free stamps that came with a magazine I bought (WHSmith should shut its doors when I'm in town!).  I bought the magazine because of the small stamps given away free, thinking they were ideal for ATCs.  I selected 3 different cards, different types of card to see how different they would be.  'different'!
I stamped a 'different' colour branch spray on each card and coloured the bird to match - almost.

I have opened the 1920s Ephemera pack (mentioned on Recollections Blog) to see what I can add.

I tore a piece of book paper, edged it with almost matching ink and placed it on a grey card stamped with coral chalk ink.  A dancing couple, oblong cut with rounded corners, was placed on top.  I found some print outs and used the word Hopes, again torn paper and inked edges.

I stamped the brown card with cream chalk and added a cigarette card photo of Bebe Daniels.  She was a famous Hollywood starlet and  starred with her husband and family in a radio sitcom that we used to listen to every Sunday afternoon.  Memories ....  I added a printout that I thought said 'All our Yesterdays'  but  didn't check it before attaching down the right side of the card.

I stamped the branch in a paler pink chalk on this grey card and cut some of the shoe catalogue border to place along the lower edge.  An advert for a dance placed diagonally across the card added a bit of colour.  I fussy cut a dancing couple from one of the magazines in the pack, and attached it as though they were dancing on the border.

I have received these gorgeous cards:

Cherry Blossom backed on to red onto purple backing paper and trimmed with pink fancy thread.

Script background with the most gorgeous young lady trimmed with taupe cord and peuce rose.

Another elegant lady trimmed with rainbow ribbon and cream chiffon flowers.
Thank you Barbara for being my partner.
