I entered the rest of my Sticker Art cards into this swap.
I entered in the rest of the Farm cards.
The Hostess thought that they were something different.
I didn't understand until I saw some of the other entries.
I took a look at some of my other peel Offs and asked if I could enter again!!
The Hostess with the mostest said to go ahead.
I found some great paper as my background, recycling wrapping paper is one of my favourite things to do!
I sorted out my box of peel offs from the stash that my daughter 'gifted' me.
So now it is just a matter of sorting out what's what and what's where.
I love it when all the pieces fit together but one has to choose how.
I love the pieces of glitter that adds that little bit of sparkle, these cards don't need any words.
My Artworks to Inspire and encourage and. . . . a bit of this . . . . and . . . . a bit of that . . . .

ATCs For All - Textured with Metal Element
Unfortunately I didn't remember to take photos before I posted the cards. I am using parts of the collective photo.
Copper embossed paper as a background added a diecut flower and centred it with a copper brad. I even managed to find some copper sentiments!
I received the following cards:
Pretty tissue paper with metallic eyelets.
Thank you Bridgette.

I used some metallic wallpaper as a background for this card. I embossed flowers onto some metallic tape and then adhered it to the wallpaper. I crimped a strip of the tape and placed it along the edge of the card and found some silver sentiments.
I embossed some gold paper with a 'measure' embossing folder and then added some metal 'buttons' - brads with the legs removed. I attached a gold sentiment along the edge.
I used the tape again for this card along with some different wallpaper. I used a 'crinkle' embossing folder for the tap and placed it down one side. Along the other edge I added some small silver key medals.
I received the following cards:
Thank you Bridgette.
This beautiful outfit has a small metallic bow at the waist.
Thank you Sandie P.
This card is r e a l grunge!
Thank you nancyL.

ATCs For All - HD/HP Mountains
I wanted to draw these freehand, so I just let my pencil roam across the page.
I received the following cards:
This card reminds me of Africa, up in the hill country.
Thank you artsteph.
It really was an enjoyable time, just drawing with my coloured pencils and colouring them in with watercolour pencils.
Most enjoyable!
I try to make four cards although it is only a three card swap. I ask the hostess to choose a card as a 'thank you' for hosting.
I never suggest which card to choose so unfortunately I never know which three I am swapping!
I received the following cards:

Thank you artsteph.
This card makes me think of the hillsides of Scotland.
Thank you Aginghippychic.
This is Modern Art!!
Thank you marryth.

CWS December - Having a Ball
My thoughts on this swap was for participants to interpret the title which ever way they wanted - no rules!!
I saw a similar picture to this on the web, so pencilled the design out on a white card. I dry painted the sky and then added some yellow for the sand.
At my art class last week we tried using salt crystals to see the results so I thought that this would be my opportunity to try it at home. I tried this out on the 'sand' and left it to dry. The result was not as good as I expected so I dusted off as much salt as I could and repainted, then added a die cut 'shell'.
I drew the pencil lines with my black pen and coloured the boy with watercolour pencils. I used mica powder in my paint for the sunshine - it really needed to shine!
I printed out the mask and coloured it in blue with my promarker pen. When it had dried I cut out the mask and the eye spaces, Stickles in gold edged the borders and detailed some of the patterning. I used some gold card for my background, with a PC printed sentiment - highlighted with Stardust stickles. I moulded the mask to give it a 3D effect, attaching the sides to the card and added some blue feathers to each side. I trimmed theses feathers but now I wish I hadn't - makes them look as though they have just come from the barbers!!!
I used a PC printed image for my last card and went to work on it with my metallic and glitter gelpens. Dedicated colouring going on here!!!
I attached the finished image and then used a silver Sharpie to edge the card.

ATCs For All - Artist's choice - Fabric Frenzy 3
I found some adhesive material rectangles, they were such delightful designs and colours that I really had no choice but to enter into this swap.
I attached the first piece of material to the card and then realised that there wasn't much I could do with it except decorate. I found some lace with large flowers, and some green lace flowers, so I cut out the lace and, using an inkpad, I coloured them red to match the background. After attaching all the flowers I used some shiny thread to 'Blanket' stitch all round the edges of the card.
Before attaching the material to the next card, I pencilled some flowers along the material. I stitched the flowers with linen thread, not quite sure whether it needs anything more .....
I am still trying to make up the fabric frenzy cards, what to do for the third card I do not know ...

....and I am running out of time ....
I visited a craft shop looking for some trimming to go on my bag when I spotted some small iron on motifs.
Perfect!!!
So I ironed the motif onto the fabric and then added a few discreet stitches to ensure the motif would stay attached.
I received the following cards:
I just love this needlefelting!
Thank you ligilass.
This beautifully cross stitched vase with silky flowers was edged with a twisted wool border.
Thank you Merryth.
This card is a perfect treasure, a beautifully thought out card.
It is an RIP for a horse with a tiny tassel made from his tail.
I cry now just looking at it, wonderful.
Thank you rocknrobin.

Circle of Crafters - Christmas b
Circle of Crafters - Christmas a
They are so beautiful .....
This card uses the sunburst technique in a way I haven't seen before, with embossed papers. It is cut perfectly, the details wonderful.
Glittery material sets off this cross stitched tree to perfection. It is stitched so neatly and the card is finished with the same attention to detail.
Now this is what I call Iris Folding, it puts mine to shame!! the shape was cut out of a die cut and then metallic papers were used for the bauble.
Superb!
They came inside this beautiful card, handmade of course!
Thank you Sandy.

Circle of Crafters Christmas
I used three jigsaws for the Christmas Swap, I wanted this swap to be special.
I bought a packet of Christmas embellishments and set to work.
I closed each jigsaw and attached a sticker right across the opening adhering it to one side only. I then cut the sticker to shape and attached the cut off to the other side of the opening.
I cut an old Christmas card to fit the inside of two cards, and used the back to fit in the third card. I love recycling!!!
I brought out the Peel Offs and added sentiments.
On the third card I added a Nativity Peel off, which sat in the centre of the card perfectly.
I added a few stars and angel peel offs to the sides of the jigsaw to complete all three cards.

Jigsaw swap
Swapping with Lucie
I had already made up some of these jigsaws .... so I thought that this would be a good opportunity to use them in a swap.
I decorated the insides of the jigsaw with tissue paper - I stamped and coloured the tissue and then adhered it onto the inside of the cards. I believe this is called a 'Faux Silk' technique.
I covered both the insides and outside 'jigsaw' cuts with matching papers.
Then I used rub-ons to add sentiments to the closed jigsaws.
I received some fabulous cards back from Lucie.
Lucie had some great rub-ons and decorated both the insides and outsides of the cards.
She used some of the papers for the inside of the cards and then decorated them with diamantes and pearls.

Domino Swap
Swapping with Hally
I was determined to use this domino to tell a story and I wanted to use watercolour papers and paints.
I printed out the title pages and used them on the cover.
Thinking 'Hot Air Balloons' I opened out the domino and attached cut pieces of watercolour paper to each ATC.
The first balloon was away in the distance, with the nearer balloons slowly coming closer ..... and larger .....
I attached the paper to both sides of some of the cards so that the pictures were showing in order .... does that make sense?
As the balloons get nearer into view then the ground starts to appear below .......
........ and then we have almost the full picture!
........ and of course, it folded into this small envelope....
My return domino was superb!!!

All the front (or insides) |
All the backs were covered. |
Hally had just purchased a gelli plate and was experimenting so she used her domino as a background to display her artwork.
I feel very honoured and privileged to be the keeper of her samples!
Thank you Hally for this honour.
