This is What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.
What I want to know is where does the time fly to? Don't seem like five minutes since I last wrote a WOYWW post!
First off I would like to say a big 'THANK YOU' to all my visitors last week and all your kind comments.
Secondly- I am sorry if I didn't visit your Blog..... seems like the usual story ..... too much to do and too little time to do it in!!!
There hasn't been much work done this week in this craft room as we have spent some time clearing another room and part of the garden. No evenings spent on the laptop as we have our tea, watch the news and then off to bed..... can't seem to get enough of the sleep thing!!
So here's the desk...... Anniversary ATC paperwork ready for creating a wonderful ATC!!!
I have stacked all the papers, images, card etc as I don't want to give anything away .... I shall make nine (9) so if you want to get your orders in I'll start a list!!! Remembering that I can only swap eight, one is reserved for my 'follower'.
The usual detritus surrounds the work area, the tiny Tippex teardrop to the right was used in my address book - updating both daughters' addresses in the old address book. Small bottles of paint for Little Soldier's book are waiting to be opened and used. Why there is a packet of sewing needles on there ........... suggestions in a plain envelope ..... clean ones only!
I shall try to pop round the desks later, depends when and where Little Soldier goes to sleep.
My Artworks to Inspire and encourage and. . . . a bit of this . . . . and . . . . a bit of that . . . .

Boy you are organised. I have never made ATCs but I have quite few finished tags that I could swap. If that's OK with people then i may just be able to join in with the swap. Sarah #25
ReplyDeleteI didn't realize there was another swap on already - last year's seems like only yesterday! I might have to give this a pass, unless some awesome inspiration strikes in the meanwhile. Good start on yours. Have a happy week! zsuzsa #26
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, love the background paper, and the funky scissors! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #8 XxXx
ReplyDeleteTime does have a habit of rushing by doesn't it! I nearly didn't join in but realised I would have a connection on the motorway! Hugs, Chrisx

Sewing needles? Are you going to embroider on the ATCs? Gasp! Totally get the 'no time' thing, it seems to just be swallowed up every time you turn around!
ReplyDeleteI love the colors of that background Christine, its gorgeous :) ~Stacy #36
ReplyDeleteI don't seem to have time to do anything much either... but that's what watching too much tv does. I should be making a birthday card right now! your atcs sound fascinating. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteI haven't been swapping lately due to shifts of focus in my personal world, but would enjoy viewing what others make for the upcoming swap. I like the textural effects of the work you show center stage, as it were. And the mooshed together colors ! Wonderful.

Lovely paper you have created there. I won't be taking part in the swap as I've already got too much to do and not enough energy to do it all anyway lol! I always enjoy seeing what other people dok though. Thank you for your brilliant comment that had me roaring with laughter - I needed to see the funny side of the pants situation because I'd been getting crosser and crosser about it!!!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW,

ReplyDeleteThe background paper look like a great start to ATCs! AS for the sewing needles - maybe you were planning to stitch around each ATC? That would be cool! Happy belated WOYWW! Lindart #37
