ATCs for All - Birdhouses .... Not

I love the quirkiness of this subject so had to join in the swap!
Out came my ideas for houses.....
I made four little houses and decorated them with free papers from a magazine.

Following through with the magazine idea I started to sort out suitable pictures and then DH asked if I wanted his old camera magazine ..... he knows me so well ..... yes please!
Turning the pages the possibilities became endless.
I chose two gorgeous views - where I can't remember, sorry.  I then went through the magazine again - being a camera magazine there are lots of instruction pages, which mean there were several photos the same subject but slightly different.  I tried a boat on the water but couldn't find the right size but the bikes!  oh! yes!  so two bikes are flying through the sky!

I determined that I wanted animals on this mountain woodland scene but in the end had to settle for birds - but they are not in the house!!!

Now for a change .....
DH came up with this idea - Bless Him!!
The problem was to find the right camera size, I had lots to choose from but finding just the right one ......  I needed the screen to open to show a further view .... which needed to be the right size!!!!!  So here we have our camera, with an orchestra being photographed ... well, the cellist!

This is one of my original ideas .... a jewellery box.
I had found the paper in my scrap box and there was just enough to fit the house - it has a felted feel to one side.  I taped two thin strips of silver ribbon to form the racks and then added tiny 'jewels' - yes!  I know they are meant for nails but they fit!!!  I used a gold pen to draw the chains, not very successfully I must admit.  I did have some gold thread but couldn't fathom out how to attach such small pieces.

I received the following:

Underwater house!
Thank you CastleQueen5.

A squidhouse!
