WOYWW #600

 So we finally made it!!!

Well done Julia, with a nod to Jan . . . I am so pleased that I found you.

I blame that MaryAnne and her Blog . . . Thank you MaryAnne

So many laughs and so many tears of happiness and sometimes sadness but so much friendship.

My Desk

As you can see, not a lot going on . . .

I am downstairs trying to set up our Christmas Village.  It used to take Peter and me a couple of days to get this up and running to our satisfaction . . .  I am hoping to do it in a week . . .  I have the help of incredible Dx to do the fiddly things and the girls are also helping so we shall see.

The tree is up and the railway is running, two 'houses' are unpacked so we are on our way.  The line across the picture is the tram, which was added last year, as you can tell this is only the central third.  Lots more to do . . . .
Happy WOYWW #600 everyone, enjoy your visits.

  1. Happy 600th Christine. Oh, I’m so happy that the Christmas village is up and running, what a wonderful way to keep PJ involved. I do love these little miniature scenes, they make me really happy.
It’s been so good to get to know you over the years, lovely gal - hope it continues for many more.

  4. Hi Christine. Sooo glad you are able to join in today on this celebration of 600 editions! Oh my - and that's just the middle third. I do hope we all get to see the whole thing when it is all set up. I don't think I have ever seen anything like your village! Not surprised there is nothing going on with your craft desk. Mine is completely empty of craft, but currently filled with Bible, song folders, notebook and pen, as I seek to put together some devotion ideas for around Christmas. Keep getting distracted - by lovely songs on youtube other than the ones I want to listen to... oops.
Take care, girl. God bless you.

  10. Wow that is going to be one heck of a Christmas village if it will take you a week to put it up - I can't wait to see it fully assembled. The little bit I can see is already looking magical - how wonderful.

I love your tree and the village - I recall when I was about 4 we had a little train on a track that ran round under the tree. Sadly no more.

  19. I wrote a comment last night on my tablet, got to sign off and promptly deleted it, don't laugh, I am a bit older than you remember!
I was having a catch up to see your ATCs and read the sad news about Peter! I really should visit more often! I'm sure that your setting up the train and the tree would please Peter! Will you be taking photos?
Read about you not having a passport - Paris is waiting still, it won't be the same, but if this year has taught us anything it's that nothing stays the same! My dearest friend is no longer with us - B*^%$@ cancer!!! Pleased you can still see your family - mine are keeping away as they all work with lots of different people! Roll on the vaccine! Take care, Hugs, Chrisxx ps Thanks for the visits to mine!!

  23. Oh how I miss making those little villages and setting up trains every year for the kids who are grown and gone! It looks beautiful! BTW, we didn't get nearly as much snow as they were predicting, but I'm not unhappy about that at all!
