Wonderful Watercolour Wonders

This is the moment that I have a steep learning curve!!
I will be embossing stamped images and then colouring them with watercolour paints.
I started by going through all my stamps, both free and bought, and chose some that I thought I could work with.
I will confess here that I don't know much about using stamps, I have watched videos, demonstrations etc but when it gets down to actually 'doing' it ............ another story.
I am a tryer though so here we go again ........
So I have sorted out a scenic view, an Italian wine label, two stamps to make a floral picture and an oriental scene.
I stamped, embossed and then painted.  I must confess that I thoroughly enjoyed my day trying this out but how successful I felt was debatable.

I am not happy with my scenic view, I think that the stamp is not really suitable for embossing, the details are too fine, but I tried.

I think I faired much better with the wine label although I maybe could have embossed a bit better.

I embossed the flowers and the butterfly then painted the background.  I added small amounts of colour to this card and I am pleased with the end result.

I am now getting into my stride ........... I embossed the branch and lantern, then used Promarkers to colour this design, adding a few strokes of yellow mica colour for the background.  I think this is a success!

I received the following cards by return:

This is beautifully stamped and painted.
Thank you ThouArtDelyrius.

I love the border, ribbon, on this card.
Thank you Cinlan.

I love this card, perfect embossing and painting.
Thank you canadarosebud.

UPDATE!
OOPS!
In this swap you will be making ATCs that using rubber stamps. More than likely you will be using watercolor paper as you are going to be embossing your stamped images & then coloring them with watercolor pencils or crayons or paints. It is also required that you frame them on a nice background paper such as cardstock.

I think I messed up on this swap, I misread the directions and sent my cards without borders.  Thankfully they were accepted.
