Driven to Abstraction

I started this swap with a selection of wall paper bits on my desk.

I drew some highlighted lines along the card base and set them to dry.  I added a 'strip' of torn paper across the middle of the card, a fussy cut flower and some chains.  I had coloured the flower using some metallic gelpens before I fussy cut it.  The chains were in my 'die cuts' box, I tend to toss any leftovers in a small flat box at the side of my desk.

I took another piece of paper and coloured it up with my pearl pencils.  Once I had the colouring done to my satisfaction, I used a micron pen to draw some 'brickwork' lines across the paper, thickening lines in a sort of abstract design!

I tore another piece of paper and placed this across the lower corner and coloured the leaves in with a black micron pen.  I then added two pieces of torn cream paper in the space across the top, filling in the gaps with a yellow highlighter, the gaps were then edged with the infamous black pen. I added a fussy cut flower which I had edged with the black pen and a line of glitter.

I went to work with the glitter and highlighters on the last card.
I coloured all the spaces with my highlighters but it really didn't show up very well so I used the highlighters along the glitter lines which really brought the design (abstract) alive.

These were my returns ..... unfortunately I filed them before I recorded their names so I can only say a blanket Thank you.  When I find the file I will update this file.

Beautiful

Doodles.

This is not only an abstract but textured as well!
