Happy WOYWW everyone! We meet again and have a catch up and natter . . . .
My desk . . .
Life is still full of positives . . . it's still raining, still have a sore mouth, still working on Vintage Trains membership . . . . .
The rain is new really, it only started last evening . . . . the slow persistent type . . . .
My mouth is not quite so sore, of that I am sure. I removed the last stitch yesterday, I kept catching it with my tongue so I thought better out than in now . . . . it has been ten days since surgery.
I just have a few phone calls to make now and my membership work will be completed for this month!
And then . . . . then . . . .I can start creating!! YEAH!!!
I want to make some master boards . . . I SO want to make some . . . . and I will . . . .
Have a good week and stay safe and warm.
I an sympathise with your sore mouth, my tongue has been sore for a couple of weeks, feels like I burnt it, but I know I haven’t. We have an “Ask your GP” online system here so I might send them a message later. I like your Bible Gateway “Word of the Day”, I used to have the verse of the day delivered by email, now I have Bible readings every day. At the moment I am studying Revelations so awesome and fascinating! Have fun with your master boards,. Have a great week, Angela #10
ReplyDeleteI’m sorry your mouth is still sore but hope that removing the stitch will do the trick. Well done for nearly completing the membership too, it’s good that they’ve got you to keep tabs on everyone. It’s grey and drizzly here too but milder which is good as we’re having the boiler replaced today!

Ouch! Hope your mouth heals fully , and soon, then you can really enjoy your crafty time! We all need that, and yeah, def. when the weather is as grey and dismal as today, even in Dorset.

ReplyDeleteUggghhhh, sore mouth is the worst! Hoping now that the stitch is out, you will have a total recovery and get back to "mouth normalcy!" LOL We have had rain here off and on, but today it's gorge.....chilly, but gorge! Here's hoping your crafting resumes soon! I know how it feels to be chomping at the bit when you really want to do something! Stay safe, blessings Felicia #33

ReplyDeleteOf COURSE your desk is different this week, Christine! A different cup of coffee makes ALL the difference, doesn't it! Haha! Sorry to hear your mouth is still troubling you but I'm glad the last of the stitches has gone now. All very unpleasant for you. I hope you enjoy your masterboards, and that you will share your efforts with us.

ReplyDeleteHope your mouth heals soo.
ReplyDeleteAll the best Jan
A fresh cup of coffee always helps! I hope you got all your tasks done and have time to play now, enjoy! Sorry for being late (the deskers-list is long and I visit a few per day) Have a great weekend, stay healthy and safe! Love from the Netherlands, Marit #31
ReplyDeleteSounds like a good plan Missus, I’ve just come from Angela and she’s got a master board on the go which made me think int was time I got one underway too! You are good to not give in and get the membership duties out of the way first. Plus point to that being that clearly it’s made you really want to get inky! Your poor mouth, are you having to do horrid salty water rinses and things? grim. Works though. You were brave to take the stitch out yourself, think I might have had to have braver help!
ReplyDeleteoooh I must remember that one! Change the mugs over! Mind you, I think I've had a woyww post with the same mug...just the mould inside changed colour! Sorry I'm so late, time seems to race by leaving me somewhere near last Thursday! Happy WOYWW!? Stay Safe Keep Crafting! ((Lyn))#21
ReplyDeleteNow then missus, I can’t find a WOYWW 607 post on here, and following your link brings me to this one....have you hidden it! I can usually change a link so it finds the right post, but I can’t find the post.....xxxx
ReplyDeleteOh ha! I’ve sussed it out now. I’m looking at the wrong week’s links!!! So sorry. It would be a worry, but I’m getting used to it!!
ReplyDeleteI'm glad to hear things are progressing for you Christine and things are getting done, good for you. The rain doesn't help especially as dark as it's been too.
