What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up.
Thank you to all my visitors last week, I didn't manage to visit everyone .... over several days I think I managed most - forgive me if I didn't get to you.
Please, please, do not ask me where the month of June went ....at this rate it will be Autumn before I can turn round!! lol
I have managed a bit of play this week, between gardening, stitching etc! I popped in to the craft room and played around with a sponge and some of the paints I brought back from Crafty Expressions.
I started by using some small pieces of circular foam, I think it came inside my printer packaging but don't quote me!
I used them with Cosmic Shimmer Chalk Cloud Blending Inks to add circles to a piece of white paper, adding a bit of makeup foam stamping as well. I moved onto adding some circles to the elastic band stamped papers. Very impressed yet again - will be better when I have actually used them!!
Using some of the card left over from my working days and a large bath sponge I dabbed away with some Shimmer Paint. ..... they are a bit darker than I thought, so may have to add a touch of gesso. I think I was too heavy handed so will try this again but with either a lighter touch or a piece of natural sponge.
Not quite sure what I will use them for just yet although I can see that C word hanging around!
That's it for me this week, busy workdesk but not much in the way of work .....
(I see Blogger is playing up again ...... sorry about the light blue print, don't know where that came from.)
My Artworks to Inspire and encourage and. . . . a bit of this . . . . and . . . . a bit of that . . . .

Interesting experiments! Like the bath sponge idea! You can probably find the culprit for the blue text inside the HTML code! Sometimes I mess up the alignment of my paragraphs and it does all sorts of crazy things until I delete some code in HTML mode. Happy WOYWW! zsuzsa #20
ReplyDeleteOh yes, store 'em for using at the time of the C. Like the rubber band print very much, can see your ATC swaps being very graphic! I'm actually going over to the shop this avo to pick up some supplies to make a start on the C season workshops. Hate it, but believe me, it's a reluctant response to demand!
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, I've been a bit slow on the C front this year, but to be honest, I made so many last year, I'm probably fine for this year too! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #11 XxX
ReplyDeleteYou are having a lovely time! I enjoyed seeing what you've been up to, not so much the mention of the C word!!

ReplyDeleteHi Christine. Thanks for the visit. Yes - Wimbledon after the pre-packing!! Good one! Got home in time to see the Konta then Murray matches. I LOVE those green pieces - and that arched die on them. Looks just like a wrought iron gate looking into a garden - or a stained glass window. Wonderful. Glad you have had such fun just playing.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
