WOYWW #436

Our weekly meetup of show & tell workdesks ...... love this little getogether every week..... in the comfort of our own homes ..... come and join us ..... our Hostess Julia (deets at the top of the page) wont mind - I'm sure she'd say 'more the merrier' so come on in .....

...... before I go any further I want to show you my gift from the Crop, I forgot last week and I can assure you Annie, it was not done on purpose.
I treasure this Journal because of  ...
...the cover ....
.... just look at it...
.... photos do not do it justice, I LOVE it.  Thanks again Annie.

My desk is getting ready for the post, cards completed and now just the envelopes to be addressed.
The joker printout is in readiness for one of my Alphabet swap ATCs .... any guesses which letter?  lol
To the left is a Dress Form Die and some diecuts - I have cut them out in readiness for a small project with my Craft&Chatter group.

At the top of the desk you can see a very smart little bag - filled with goodies which were given to us the day after the Crop ......

Will you just look at that!
There were balloons and flowers and we all had a great catch up over a delicious meal.
PJ and I cannot believe that we have been married that long ..... how did that happen?
We are two very blessed people with a most marvellous family - we are only together because we were called by God to be so, and we have done so many marvellous things, thanks to His Good Grace.

In between enjoying the sunshine and clearing the gardens ready for their long sleep, I shall pop round to visit your desks .....

  1. Awww, Happy Anniversary, you two! Many congratulations, how lovely that you had such a gorgeous present. I'm the proud owner of one of Annie's beautiful notebooks too, the detail is fabulous. Enjoy doing the gardening, I'm not venturing out today as it's bucketing down!

  2. Happy Anniversary to you both. I so nearly chose that notebook myself at the crop so I'm glad it went to a good home; it's incredible isn't it. Happy WOYWW Sarah #20

  3. Congratulations on your pearl anniversary, Christine! How many years is that? What a pretty goody bag for you, and the album cover is gorgeous. Thank you for your visit to my blog - my hand isn't that steady and that's one of the advantages of doing Zentangle digitally - so easy to erase the last stroke and redo it if it's a bit wobbly!! My hubby began to have second thoughts about getting kittens just before we got them but I assured him they would be "fun" and they certainly are! They are utterly adorable and because of that, you can forgive them anything! There are certain rooms that are out of bounds except under the strictest supervision, though! Glad you liked my studio pics and the Zentangles.

  11. Hi Christine, happy anniversary to you and your husband! I can see why you love the journal. Beautiful. If you would rather visit my garden than my desk, you would be more than welcome! I know it needs preparing ready for winter, but I can't summon the energy! Have a lovely week, Heather #32
