This is What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - checkout the tab at the top of the page for further info - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting again.

My desk, this morning, is a very good illustration of my life at the moment!!  A real hotch potch of 'things'!

As you can see, lots going on but nothing completed.  The days seem to fly away, I no sooner sit down to do something and I have to leave it to go do something else ......

I am trying to complete an ATCs For All swap.  The two of the cards are completed and I have just this third card to finish...... before tomorrow's post .....
Also on my desk, various tools used in the process so far including the acrylic blocks (used to flatten my cut out .....).  Some stamps fallen from the shelf above and a cut up box (finished Father's Day pressie) which will be either ATCs or ATCCs .... I haven't decided yet.

Short but sweet today, we have a BBQ down at Tyseley, a staff thank you which includes all the Volunteers.  Very welcome social time.
Talking of Tyseley.... I grew these Escholzia flowers in the centre bed last year ....... they have self seeded and some escaped ....... Weed or flower?

Thanks to all my visitors last week, and 'see' you on my visits to you.

  1. Hi Christine, don't forget to take a picture of the finished ATCs so you can share them once they've arrived. Enjoy the BBQ. Sarah #19

  2. I'm trying to figure out what those cardboard things are that show images that look like rollers. That angel stamp is lovely. I hope you get your ATC finished. It can be maddening to be under a deadline with just hours to go.

Those are too pretty to be weeds. Definitely flowers! Happy WOYWW from #1.

  3. I like ATC swaps but I'm always a bit scared to sign up in case I can't make the deadline. Hope you can finish yours and show them to us next week! I also found a weed yesterday on our drive that looks suspiciously like a flower - I planted it in a pot to see what happens! Have a fun week! zsuzsa #26

  4. Hi Christine - hope you get everything finished. I know what you mean about a hotchpotch life at the moment!! Feel for you! A weed???? Never. A weed is simply a flower in the wrong place anyway...
    Take care. God bless.

  6. Definitely flower!! I do love them, are they like Cambrian poppies? I need some plants to self seed in my new gravel bed, the saxifrages I got off the 'mouldy shelf' at B&Q are doing their best but I need something to spread a bit more quickly, lol! Enjoy the BBQ!
