WOYWW #556

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top to the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

Still beavering away at reducing the pile of outstanding mail - both email and hard copy.
The desk is much the same except that the 'stackers' and pencils are put away.  *Double checks in amazement!!!*
Forms are still waiting to be filled in..... why bother with a passport when I have no foreign trips abroad planned, not even Paris...... and Funeral arrangements must be the most awful ones to put in writing.  I have a friend who has hers arranged down to the last detail.... I think she has spent months, if not years, planning it out and adjusting plans.... I am not that brave.
Much better to sort the post on the left of the laptop.... latest cards and ATCs delivered this morning.... along with this months Creative Stamping Mag Iss 81.  I am trying to use new stash at least once before 'filing' it.

I did very well with last months mag - I managed to create a zine (small booklet from one A4 paper - deets to follow) and a card.
Issue 81                   Zine                   Card
I think I will be a bit more challenged this month!

Just to let you know that I have just learned how to merge the above photos ..... thank you Google!!!!
Maybe I will try Windows 10 after all!!

WOYWW #555

Nothing going on round here ..... wrong!
I may not have been at my desk but I have been crocheting for the wildlife caught up in the Australian fires (all supplies sent and now need UK wildlife rescue links).

I have managed to create some ATCs, which will be posted later and at the moment I am sorting stash (again!!)

My desk is much the same:
Forms still waiting to be filled in and posted off ...

I have been notified that I need to go to another hospital for further investigation into a discovery that was made during my heart tests ..... (this just confirms that if you go to the Doctors, they will always find something wrong with you!!! )
I went to the GP back in October with an annoying cough which wouldn't go away!!!  lol

I hope this week to be able to clear and update some of my 'waiting to be sorted' post, both hard copy and electronic.

You all have a good week and keep on crafting....

WOYWW #554

Happy New Year!
I survived Christmas after all so here is the desk....

My GPs and Consultants appear to have it all sorted now and I am certainly feeling a lot better.  I am trying to catch up with all the 'things' that had to be left while I was'under the weather'.......

Here is the desk

From the left .....
a small Zine, should've been swapped back in November but hope to post it tomo.  To the right of the laptop ..... that passport renewal form is still there ...... but more importantly is the folder.  It may be a very pretty pink flowered one but it contains lots of patterns to knit, crochet and stitch little pouches and nest for the poor wild life caught up in the fires in Australia.  I have sent out copies to members of my craft Group so that we can collect some 'help' for the animals.  I have a local hub which will distribute  them out to Australia..... so organised in such a short time but the support has been tremendous!
Hoping to catch up again soon
x
Just a thought ... it would have been my daughter's 43rd birthday today.  Happy Birthday Leanne Denise, too beautiful for this life here on earth......

Australian Wild Animal Rescue Collective

I found this Group on Facebook and joined immediately.  My prayers are for the Rescuers and animals and land as I thought this was all I could offer.
Now I can knit and crochet to my hearts content and then send it out to my nearest 'Hub' which happens to be a few miles away.
In case you would like to join in here is the link.... please feel free to spread the word.

I think this is the link for the Main Group - not really au fait with Facebook
https://www.facebook.com/groups/2526579050910692/

this is the West Midlands link - again I think
