WOYWW #660

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

Another Wednesday!

aah!  but it isn't just another Wednesday . . . . .it's the last one in January . . . .

How on earth did that happen?

what happened to my blogging every day in 2022?

Too late now . . . . only 5 days left and we are into February . . . . .

My desk

And on the left  . . . one found and recycled item

I am finding it increasingly difficult to smooth down the backs of my coins and ATCs when I have attached them.  Silly but . . . then I saw someone on TV using a special tool for this purpose and thought how good is that?!

Clearing out the other day, I found Peter's shaving brush and had a lightbulb moment.  The brush top is for clearing out the cutting grooves on my paper cutter and the padded bottom is perfect for smoothing the backs of the ATCs . . . . or any other image  . . . cost?  time and effort.

Actual work . . .

I am about to start on my next set of ATCs so I am using my new stamps and one of the backgrounds from Spyder . . . . thank you.

Here is the Screenshot . . . .

I seem to have staff meetings more frequently nowadays . . . .

  1. Thank you for the visit Christine, as you say there are endless opportunities. The trouble is I feel my sewing skills let me down, it never was my forte. Great idea to recycle other tools for craft. I look forward to seeing your finished gnome scenes. Angela #2

  2. I laughed out loud at the staff meetings!! I think there’s many happening here at my place as well…..so you’re not alone in that. I LOVED the fact that you’ve repurposed Peter’s shaving brush for the craft work, absolutely brilliant, recycling at its best xx

  8. Staff meeting, me too, how funny! Brilliant idea with Peter’s shaving brush although I’m not sure I understand why the ATCs need smoothing down…but then I don’t make them, so that would be why! Loving the plan for the next ATCs, aren’t Spyder’s backgrounds brilliant!

  9. Staff meeting, I am on the verge of sacking this staff member for not working as hard as maybe she used too, I'll wait until the next meeting and see if she works harder before then! I love you have used Peter's brush, looks like it will be handy in many areas of your desk! As for the ATC, I have only done one that I remember, for an occasion. Sorry can't help with you flattening them down!
