WOYWW #658

Back in the days of  #656 I fully intended to Blog every day, as I used to . . .  even if it was just an aide de memoire. . . .

Well, life, and 'not covid', prevented all that!!  I am now able to move around without being so out of breath it hurts . . . . yeah!  I can even make it up AND down the stairs . . . . big leaps for me . . . .

So on a sunshiney, frosty morning may I present  . . . . . . the Desk . . . .

Not much to see you think . . . .

New stash . . . .   I've been visiting Julia Watts website and these mini gnomies have appeared  . . .plus a bit of other stuff that fell in the basket.  These I need as Spyder gave us a free door frame and the gnomies just fit  . . . . . perfect for an ATC.

Then there are the December swaps to be photographed and the senders to be thanked  . . . .

 . . . . and then there's the wall paper . . . . this is so me at the moment but the rest times ARE getting shorter . . . .

Have a good week, stay safe . . . . and apparently playing games is good for you . . . . .

WOYWW?  What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course!  The day I go travelling round as many desks as I can to see what other folks have been up to and, of course, my Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week.  Thank you.

  1. I’m so sorry to hear you’ve been poorly, there are some vicious bugs going around, the wallpaper is right, we should allow ourselves to rest/read/whatever without feeling guilty that we should be doing something all the time! Those gnomes are great fun, I can see you using those loads of times!!

  3. Excellent wallpaper. Remember when the whole "She is/She was..." trend went crazy? I always planned an art journal page using that theme but probably not suited for polite company :). Hope you carry on feeling better. I took a far-too-long break from WOYWW a few years ago and once I got back into the habit I just carried on. But the thing is, no one minds anyone taking a break if they need to. The best thing of all was feeling so welcome when I poked my head back thru the Wednesday door. Such a special community here, isn't it?

    Stay Safe & Happy WOYWW!

  5. Great gnome stamps, I popped over and had a look at the site, but I am supposed to be using what I have! Did I miss out on a freebie from Spyder, not like me at all! Love that quote at the end - one to remember! Happy WOYWW Angela #4

  6. The gnomies look great - should cheer you up when using them and you can make a start on Christmas cards for next year. I find crafting is a great way of spending time without exerting myself and causing problems with my breathing so happy crafting to you whilst you are having problems. Let's hope you are on the up and up the whole time from now on.

  8. Sorry to hear you have been feeling unwell, some of these things take such a long time to disappear don't they. I hope you continue your recovery and get to enjoy using those cute little gnomes.

  11. Good to hear you're on the mend Christine, thankfully living in a bungalow, the stairs are avoided. Otherwise I would be in the same state without Covid! Love the quote. I love your ATC's, cards and fab stamps, I've looked at the Gnomes and resisted! There was a reason though, I bought something more expensive, which I hope will bring me as much joy as those stamps would have? :)

  13. Oh dear Christine hope you are fighting fit very soon! That little meme sums up my life as well, I seem to achieve so little these days but I benefit in other ways (less stress) from a more low key existence. Compromise I suppose, but life just gets in the way!! Have a good week, love n hugs Cindy xx

  14. Oh am glad that you aren’t afraid to rest when you need to, but oh it’s taking it’s time to let you go isn’t it. Doesn’t matter, patience will get you there without doubt. Marvellous fast in gnomes Christine, I just picked up the same set!
