The 13th year!
I've been here since 2013 . . . January 16th to be exact.
Amazing facts and figures!!
I have been all over the place since my last visit . . . . . . no change there then . . . . .
The Desk
Lots going on here . . . .A card to send. Not my favourite type but Steam Engines attract a lot of nostalgia . . . . . not much young blood in among it all. Steam is a novelty, history and, like history, memories fade . ATCs in the making, NOT for the celebration . . . . . you can't see them or they wont be a surprise! I hope to have a couple of spares so if you want to swap with me . . . . just let me know in the comments.I've been fixing something so the bead box is still out . . . I'll show you what it was later . .

I have found a stash of VHS (remember those?!) tapes and think I have found a couple of when PJ and I were in Africa. Anyhoose, I have had them put onto DVD . . . . . I hope to be watching them soon . . . Happy WOYWW everyone . . . . . and thank you Julia yet again.
Happy 13th WOYWW Christine!! I still remember you and PJ making it down to deepest darkest Wiltshire for the first Crop and knowing it was you straight away when you walked through the door with that pink hair!! Marvellous to meet you both then and still to know you now xxx

LOL! I always forget if sharing is the done thing or not, so I sometimes have a bit of a hint, or a distance shot on my desk but there you go - I am always surprised by the REAL THING when it arrives. How lovely, the VHS tapes - we have a few so thanks for the nudge. and Happy 13th year of WOYWW!

ReplyDeleteHow lovely to find the VHS tapes - l think I've got some Betamax tapes somewhere but I doubt anyone would still be able to put them onto a DVD.

ReplyDeleteYou know with 3 brothers who were Firemen on the GWR, I LOVE the Steam trains. You're right about fading memories though, such a shame. Love your screen, a reminder how strong you have been too. I have about 8 VHS tapes in my craft room, must find a way of watching them.

ReplyDeleteWe found an old ciny film of our kids and got that moved to a DVD, there sound didn't work but it was lovely seeing them little again! I love those little trains that jog around, and of course some of the bigger ones too...hubby loves them too, grrrreat fun! Happy WOYWW 13th Anniversay!((Lyn)) #21
