WOYWW? What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course! My Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week. Thank you.
The desk . . . .
I am, as my old Mother used to say, 'very discombobulated' today . . . . . most days actually . . . .
It really is a case of one thing at a time, so I l have one card on my desk.
I'm revisiting Decoupage for one of my card swaps this month. I found this Penny Wessenauer image among 'stash to be cleared', almost completed, so I thought not to be wasted.
The background is one of my new paint colour tryouts, this is the last of it which is a shame as it has a lovely pearl sheen to it . . . . looks like I'll have to go back to Cass for some more . . . . .
I will complete this some time today. It's a cooking day as I am cooking a Roast Chicken Dinner for me and the boys . . . . hopefully.
Such plans!! lol
have a good week and stay safe.
Hi Christine, this is a lovely card. You haven't said what you used to get that colour but I really like it. Enjoy your dinner with the boys, sounds scrummy. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww (when you finished the cooking!), Angela x9x
ReplyDeleteYour card is lovely - I really love the image of the vintage lady. I hope you become less discombobulated as the day progresses and hope you get the roast dinner done!
ReplyDeleteHave a lovely week,
Diana xx #12
First of all, love the colour of that card! So bright and in your face, it works really well. You get days like this when you can’t explain why nothing’s right but it just isn’t. Hopefully cooking the chicken dinner will be fun and you enjoy the company of the boys too.

One card at a time is about my speed these days too! Roast chicken sounds yummy, enjoy! Have a wonderful week, Lindart #20
ReplyDeleteLove your tidy desk Christine, as for discombobulated? Gosh I have heard that word in an age, always loved it. Hope your discombobulation is sorted soon hahaha
ReplyDeleteFabulous colour, it just begs to be used! Roast Chicken dinner is my favourite. Happy WOYWW. Angela #11
ReplyDeleteIt's been a full on day of sewing plus we have the twins before and after school every Wednesday so I've had tea to cook for us all after my day's work....I'd rather feed them for a week than a fortnight [you forget just how much growing kids eat]. It's my time now so I'm visiting all my favourite blogs.
ReplyDeleteI hope your discombobulation improves/eases soon.
Hugs,
Annie x #14
that's a great card! Just take it easy and look after yourself; matey! Helen '#2
ReplyDeleteThanks for your visit. Your food sounds good. He's in the field so I eat odd things !! Will have beef and noodles tonight. Our weather changed 60's and no wind and maybe RAIN Sun/Mon which we need so bad Burn Ban in effect now. Time goes so fast. I love your card, great color and fun images. Enjoy a good week Discombobulated or not !!!!
ReplyDeleteA lovely card and such a pretty colour, hope you can recapture it. Discombob seems to be a thing when you reach a certain age, I am certainly with you on that one.
ReplyDeleteTake care and don't over do things - enjoy the Chicken dinner, sounds yum!
Hugs, Neet 1 xx
ps yes, we are our worse critics, we know it but still do it
That's a great card Christine. One thing at a time is a great plan. Hope you fell a bit stronger soon. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #3
ReplyDeleteSuch a bright and cheerful card! Like you, I am taking things a day at a time. What else can you do? Hope your dinner warmed your heart as well as your tummy!

Definitely a must to get more of that colour paint it is my favourite (slightly biased LOL). One step at a time is always a good way when things are a challenge. Have to say I never thought I'd paint in a Bible but love how it brings the words to life for me, and helps me meditate on the verse I have chosen to illustrate. Not gone as far as sticking stuff in it and covering words, that's for another spare Bible methinks. Hugs BJ#6
ReplyDeleteooh nice card and love the colour too (I am a big fan of Cass Art too). Thanks for visiting my desk already.
