WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page. Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem!
Good morning my friends
and it is a good morning as this will be my first day with my new oxygen cylinder system. It hasn't arrived yet but soon . . . . sooon . . . . I will post about it as you know I will!! lol
The desk
Not much has been happening in this area, mostly dumping!
the Etigami is still waiting . . . post has arrived . . . . new form to fill in . . . . and lots of ignoring it all!
My time has been taken up with some stressful (to me) activities but now I am back to MY life . . . . if you think retirement is nice and quiet and easy going . . . .
I hope to visit everyone so I'd best make a start . . . the coffee is brewed . . .. .
Some co-workers of mine retired last months and they all are busier than ever, don't forget to add me-time whenever you can and relax! Happy woyww and a hug from Holland, Marit #11
ReplyDeleteLooks like a wide awake Tiger on your computer ! Hope your day is super Fantastic and all goes well with your new oxygen machine. Here the mail system is messed up not dependable delivery. UPS/FedEX do a great job on packages etc. Our 1st major snow fall is predicted for FRI, Sat, Sunday ! It should melt as our temps have been so great. No jackets needed. NOW it is WINDY...WOW Enjoy that coffee and Best Wishes
ReplyDeleteOh Christine, I do hope this new oxygen system is much better for you and you and "it" get along well together. I love the fact that the post has arrived and there are lots of forms to fil in so you are ignoring them. Sometimes I wonder what is going on in the world with all this paper wastage.
ReplyDeleteHugs, Neet 2 xx
ps the knee could not be stitched or glued where you see it because there was no skin there to put together/join it up. It did have six stitches in at one side of what you see but that has healed up completely. That is why it is taking a long time - it has to heal from underneath and as it is right on the bend of the knee it has to be kept straight for fear of splitting further. Hope that explains the picture to you. xx
Ha ha good to see you Christine!! I am several years retired now and frankly I don't know how I ever had time to work. Hope the oxygen arrives soon!! (Does that class as happy mail?). Have a great week, love n hugs Cindyxx #7
ReplyDeleteRetirement is never the relaxing time I suspect we were told it would be. If anything life is busier, and as the age keeps creeping up so it'll be "retire when you die!" DOH! Take care of yourself and I'm with you on the "ignoring" - sometimes it is all just a bit too much!
ReplyDeleteHappy WOYWW!

I hope the oxygen system works better (and has arrived now) I am looking forward to retiring... just don't know when it will be! Happy WOYWW Helen #1
ReplyDeleteHope everything goes well with the new system. I absolutely know that retirement does not mean peace, quite or freedom to do as you like. It just doesn't happen. I actually think that when you're not working people find you more to do Lol! Sending hugs and wishes for a very happy woyww. Angela x5x
ReplyDeleteI love your Tiger image! I am loving retirement! This is the part of my life where I learned to say the word "NO!" with whatever inflection, tone, attitude, etc, that the situation requires. My husband and I have become totally self-involved, selfish seniors! Our children are so proud of us they don't know what to do!
ReplyDeleteI hope your retirement becomes less stressful and more enjoyable once you get everything sorted!

Hope the Oxygen thingy arrived safely and you are all up and running on it well. I guess retirement to me has been one minor medical thing after another but I'm doing OK otherwise. The adage of youth being wasted on the young is so true, if only.... Ah well we do what we can. Tigger was my picture when I became a Christian 27 years ago, bouncy bouncy bouncy bouncy, fun fun fun fun fun. Hugs BJ#9
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry to hear you've been suffering, Christine. Nothing worse than not being able to catch your breath, so your life will be much better with your new companion, even though it's a pain to lug around everywhere you go. These golden, er, rusty years are definitely a challenge, but attitude is 90% and you've got that going for you!! Happy Easter! Hugs, Darnell
