8 Maids a Milking
This sepia picture of eight vintage milkmaids makes me smile..... so there is only one sentiment I could use!! i completed the card with a covering of PVA.
I used an embossed piece of black card for the figure eight and printed out the milkmaid image (defunct website), which I fussy cut. The background came from my Wordle saved ones, not too bright but enough.
I printed out some background paper then coloured up the maid from 'on the twelve days site and fussy cut them out. So the sentiment had to be bright and eyepopping - which it is! I attached some of the desk glitter glue over part of the picture to finish.
7 Swans a Swimming
I used some watercolour paper for the background for two of these cards. I painted a water scene on one and put it to one side to dry. I drew the swan on typing paper, and a separate wing, with a pencil and then cut it out. I coloured the swans face with pencils and attached to the watercolour paper, adding the wing. The sentiment was printed on my pc.
I printed an image from the web and fussy cut it out before attaching to the second sheet of watercolour paper. I painted 'sunset' colours on the wet paper and left to dry. The 7 is one of my larger peel offs and then the whole card was backed onto a piece of fancy green background.
I loved this silhouette when I saw it - so I printed it on blue paper! I fussy cut the image out, and attached it to a red Wordle background. A PVA covering finished another lovely.
