Summer of Colour - Week Two

It's week 2 of the Summer of Colour 4 Challenge on TwinkleTwinkleLikeaStar and this week I've really struggled to find the colours in my magazine.

So I cheated .........

I managed to find the colour Coral in my magazine but could not find the right shade of blue for Teal, so I printed out the colours as defined by Kristin on her Blog.
I cut out this rather flashy lady who just happened to be wearing the right colour PVC outfit.
I cut out the Teal from the colour strip above and placed it to the left of my card, and a quote from my stash along the right side.  I placed the model off centre so that I could add some flower punchouts from the Coral side of the colour strip.

Now I am wondering why my photo has a blue background when it is clearly Teal in the strip above?
 Weird!

  4. I love it when a clever plan comes together and you can make awesome art from the prompt. Very creative.

You asked if I stenciled my fabric. No, that was the actual fabric. The design was in the fabric, which made the white part of the design a bit brighter. Thanks for asking.

  8. Oh silly me I was looking on the WRONG blog, went direct from your comment to your profile and the wrong blog. Just searched the twinkle list. It can sure get a bit difficult finding people there as there are so many. Anyway, loving your ATC, what a snazzy lady. BJ
