I had just pulled out some components to make an ATC for this month's swap when I remembered that tomorrow is WEDNESDAY!!!
While I am here in the craft room I will write up tomorrow's post and schedule it ....I might just get to spend a bit more time visiting!!
So this is the desk tonight ......
I am about to make an ATC with a 'Rose' theme. I have just finished my card so I am in a 'Blue Roses' mood hence the blue spotted background, white roses, ribbon with embroidered blue roses and some feathers ...... it may change!!!
I'd like to mention that my medications have been 'messed around' with for about three months and I have been on the floor. Life has been truly difficult and may continue to be so because as I told the Dr on Monday - he has taken away my retirement and given me old age. I can well understand how so many old folks sleep their life away ......
Today I went back to my old stuff and, even after one day, I feel so much better. I shall continue for about another week and then go back to his medication, in the hope that my little experiment has not interfered with my blood test results!!
Anyhows I just wanted to let you know why my posts have been all over the place, short and terse at times, at other times none existent. I hope to catch up over the next few days.
By the time this is published I shall be fast asleep - I hope - but as soon as I am up and focused (coffee drunk!!) I shall be visiting as many desks as I can fit in before Little Soldier comes.
Look forward to checking in later ......
Hi Christine, how annoying for you. Medication can be such a trial. Hope you find something that works for you and the condition. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #9 XxX
ReplyDeleteSometimes you have to do what YOU feel is right. Drs change meds willy nilly, if they're not right for you, then don't take them. Simple as. I hope that your experiment convinces the doc to listen to you properly. I am truly sympathetic to you hating the change, you've always been a busy woman. Sending hugs to you xx

Hi Christine! Thanks for visiting! I'm the GPs nightmare because I usually walk into their office with my internet research in my hand. They hate it! Especially the men. If I could self-prescribe my own medication, I would never have to see a GP! Hope your condition gets sorted - you know what feels right and what doesn't. Sometimes they get sponsored by certain companies and they feel obliged to push their products, whether it is good for you or not. I still believe a lot can be achieved through diet and lifestyle and natural products, but sometimes we need something stronger. That ATC will look lovely when assembled! zsuzsa #28

Hi Christine,
ReplyDeleteI hope your medication gets straightened out soon. It's such a bother when the Drs. want to change something that's been working....
The beginnings of your ATC looks very nice - love the polka dot paper with the ribbon. Very cool!
Happy WOYWW
Peace, Kay (43)
Hope you get the meds sorted soon. Love the polka dots! Helen #1
ReplyDeleteOh Christine you poor thing, what a mess. Hope you get sorted soon. This doctor needs to understand that you have crafting to do. You can't be sleeping all the time, things to do! Sending big WOYWW hugs, Angela x16x
ReplyDeleteOh Christine! I do hope you get your meds sorted soon! I sometimes miss one of mine out so I can get a good nights sleep - I told the doc and he said as long as it's not too often I will be fine! The last doctor I saw with this BPV was brilliant - listened to me, asked me how I felt, what I thought and then showed me an exercise that he said will help as well as tablets in case I didn't want to persevere with the exercises! So far not touched them - I rattle enough already!! Take care, Hugs, Chrisxx
ReplyDeleteLike the beginnings of your ATC. Hope the meds get managed soon.
ReplyDeleteTake care

How did the Blue Rose ATC go, the ingredients looked lovely. Sorry to hear about the medication, it's no fun is it trying to find what works for you, feel like a guinea pig? I'm currently back to square one with NO medication and wondering what will happen next with my ageing reproductive cycle??? Ho Hum Thanks for visiting me BJ#5
