Summer Holidays being the subject for this month's swap I have really thrown out a lot of ideas. I ended up using the free digi given on the Group page.
I used card for the printout which has given the image a crisp line. I used my inktense pencils to add colour and just touched the finished picture with the water brush. I found the perfect sentiment stamp in a Little Claire set.
I received this gorgeous card by return.
Brilliant cutting out and addition of clear gel.
Thank you Caro.

Thanks so very much for reading my blog and leaving a comment. It means the world to me. Now ... we've corresponded before (heart to heart) and with a certainly level of honesty. Please take this comment in the positive spirit that it is meant: Please change the name of this blog. "Wannabee" isn't the sort of blog title that a serious artist like you ought to be using! Claim your talent! Claim your artwork! Claim yourself! I know it is hard. It wasn't too many years ago that I did things like this too. Finally, I went through Julia Cameron's "The Artist's Way" and learned plenty about myself, my general low self esteem, and the way others view my work and me. I learned that if I presented my work as a "wannabe", that's what people would believe. If I presented the exact same work without such a demeaning label, it was concerned serious artwork. The hardest person to convince was ME! People want to believe in your work, your talent, your dedication, and your abilities. Let them! Claim yourself ... ARTIST ... for real not for "wannabe". With love and hope, Susan!
