February Colour Swap

Whilst painting up the Grotto for DDC, I wiped my brush off onto some spare card, a tip that most of you know about!
I cut these cards into ATC sized pieces, sprinkled with water and then patted off the water with kitchen roll.  I was very pleased with the results and determined to use the cards for this swap.

I fussy cut one of my Geckogalz images, cut some strips off a list of labelled Paint Chips greens and set to work.
One of the strips fitted diagonally across the card, the image adhered to the side and then I added a few other of the words to the card.

I used one of my dies from The Works to cut out some flowers and fronds from various snippets of green papers.  Once again I added the paint chip words across the card and then adhered the diecuts over.

I attached another strip of paint chip words across this card and then added a fussy cut image of a butterfly.  I had to draw in the 'feelers' with a fine point black pen and then added a few glittery Stickles to the body and the corner of the wings.  When I attached the butterfly, I adhered the right wind and part of the left wing.  I curled this wing and just attached to top corner.

These are my returns:
