Yes, I've managed to get to the 'writing' point on my Christmas Cards........ lots of cards, envelopes, address book and STAMPS! Please note:- although I have 2nd class stamps on my desk ... it may change! lol
PJ's desk:
The engine is getting too long now to photograph so I have brought it through to my desk - photos only you understand!!
All the inside cogs have been added and the engine has had a trial run along the landing!!
This was a total success, wheels and cogs all churning along together.
It was a very good feeling to hear the 'winding' noise as the key was turned..... much smiling, whooping and laughter to be had!
The work continued to add the tender, I think this is where the main work will continue.
As an aside, PJ has enjoyed making this so much that he has sent away for a model of one of the trucks that the Volunteers are restoring at Vintage Trains. I believe it is a plastic replica......
...... all because of his attendance at the LACrop!
A little challenge

ReplyDeleteHi Christine. Well done - nearly there! That engine is fantastic - and is coming on a storm now! Enjoy running it up and down the landing at each stage!! Consumer testing is just SO important. Have managed to do most of the challenge - still thinking on a couple of them, though.
ReplyDeleteTake care. God bless.
