WOYWW #496

If you would like to share your mess desk with like minded friends, please link up with us at Chez Julia (Stamping Ground).  There's lots of us over there, sharing all our little (or not so little) hobbies.  Come on over and join in............

Guess!
Yep!
I did it!
This was my desk on Sunday evening!!
They are all waiting to be written now - inserts, envelopes and address list all sorted, stamps purchased - 2nd Class this year I think!!  lol

And so we move on to my current desk view ......
I am was about to start creating another set of ATCs, backgrounds at the ready...... and then ......Oh! No!  I don't have the stamps I need to finish off these cards!
I am now waiting for my Stamps to be delivered ...... meanwhile ..... to the right of my desk one can see a die ....... Christmas Trees to be cut and finished while I wait ....

Peter's Desk update:
Peter has managed to complete some more to his engine ..... he was on such a roll the one day that he crafted beyond daylight (I'm sure lots of us can relate to that!).

The engine now has opening doors and roof hatch.

The 'motions' are now complete and all in working order

The key to it all workings, plus the huge thick rubber band is in place......

The engine footplate in all its glory.

I must admit that it is all getting exciting now.

There are still visions of platforms and rail extensions on the horizon..... which is getting a lot nearer .....

I hope that the weather is a bit brighter and better for you where you are ...... it is another dull, overcast, dank day here.
Here's to the Summer.......

Sorry about today's layout but Blogger will have its way!

  1. Hi Christine - and PJ. Well, you busy beavers... Crafting beyond daylight? Now that is real dedication!!! Well done the pair of you - the cards all completed, and the train brewing up a storm. Brilliant!
    Take care. God bless.

  2. Hi Christine, wow he's doing great with that engine. Cards looking good. Isn't it annoying to find you haven't got something vital! Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #7 X

  4. Oh gosh, I wish a huge thick rubber band would make me work! It would be so much easier than having to sleep!! Love the sight of all those cards on your desk, it is a genuinely glorious mess!

  7. Hi Christine, congrats on getting your cards done and dusted! Hope you get your stamps for your ATCs soon, I hate having to wait for something to be delivered to finish off- I sometimes just lose interest in it, having moved off on to something else in the interim. The train engine is moving on at full steam ahead, get it? Lol. The weather here in Lancashire is erm miserable! Thats the only word to describe it. Have a lovely week Heather x #14

  8. Hi Christine, it's been a dark dank day here indeed with lots of rain to add to the mix. I hope the days were brighter when Peter was playing with his train. Good luck writing your Christmas cards, I used to love that bit best but it's no longer something I enjoy.

  10. Yay, so glad you managed to sort everything for second class posting, it is so much more expensive otherwise! PJ is doing amazingly well with his train. I love seeing his 'side of the desk'. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

Well done to hubby too. My word that is coming along so well, he must be proud of his achievements.
