Yep!
I did it!
This was my desk on Sunday evening!!
They are all waiting to be written now - inserts, envelopes and address list all sorted, stamps purchased - 2nd Class this year I think!! lol
And so we move on to my current desk view ......
I am was about to start creating another set of ATCs, backgrounds at the ready...... and then ......Oh! No! I don't have the stamps I need to finish off these cards!
I am now waiting for my Stamps to be delivered ...... meanwhile ..... to the right of my desk one can see a die ....... Christmas Trees to be cut and finished while I wait ....
Peter's Desk update:
Peter has managed to complete some more to his engine ..... he was on such a roll the one day that he crafted beyond daylight (I'm sure lots of us can relate to that!).
The engine now has opening doors and roof hatch.
The 'motions' are now complete and all in working order
The key to it all workings, plus the huge thick rubber band is in place......
The engine footplate in all its glory.
I must admit that it is all getting exciting now.
There are still visions of platforms and rail extensions on the horizon..... which is getting a lot nearer .....
I hope that the weather is a bit brighter and better for you where you are ...... it is another dull, overcast, dank day here.

ReplyDeleteOh gosh, I wish a huge thick rubber band would make me work! It would be so much easier than having to sleep!! Love the sight of all those cards on your desk, it is a genuinely glorious mess!
ReplyDeleteOh well done with the cards, I'm very impressed!! I've bought mine and haven't even started writing them...must do, especially the overseas ones. PJ's engine is really coming on, it's looking great - I love all the interesting parts.

Hope you get your stamps for your ATCs soon, I hate having to wait for something to be delivered to finish off- I sometimes just lose interest in it, having moved off on to something else in the interim. The train engine is moving on at full steam ahead, get it? Lol. The weather here in Lancashire is erm miserable! Thats the only word to describe it. Have a lovely week Heather x #14
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, it's been a dark dank day here indeed with lots of rain to add to the mix. I hope the days were brighter when Peter was playing with his train. Good luck writing your Christmas cards, I used to love that bit best but it's no longer something I enjoy.
