WOYWW #505

If you would like to share your mess desk with like minded friends, please link up with us at Chez Julia (Stamping Ground).  There's lots of us over there, sharing all our little (or not so little) hobbies.  Come over and join in...........

This Wednesday finds me still working away at restoring my craft room to a usable state ......
All the shelving is in (and filled) and all the boxes of stash back ....... just the need to sort it.  This was the view of the corner unit late on Monday night .....
I had hoped that the room would be finished  by next weekend but ..... I have been poorly with a really bad head cold and had to spend yesterday in bed.  I am on the mend now and so will be up early and starting again tomorrow .......

In the meantime, I thought I would show you a completed ATC swap.

Remember the teabags?

Here are the ones that I sent off......

..... and here are the ones I received back......

Aren't they super?

I am so pleased with them, I will definitely make some more and hopefully find another swap to join.

  1. Hi Christine,, good to hear the craft room is coming along. I think the sorting and finding new homes for stuff seems to take the longest. Oh, and then the next few weeks remembering where it all got put!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #5 X

  2. Yay Christine, great to see an actual desk that you can get to this week. Good luck getting the rest of the sorting done. It was a clever idea to use round tea bags as a base for ATCoins, I might steal that idea lol. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4

  5. I have not seen teabag art before – those you showed are very well done. Now that you have a new craft area and desk you’ll be able to create lovely new pieces to show us.

  6. Love the teabags!! I actually think sometimes I prefer tidying my craft room to doing anything in it. In some ways it is much more satisfying. Or I just need a bigger craft room so it doesn't have to be tidied up all the time. lol. Happy Wednesday, Cindy #20

  9. You and me both with the head colds, it's taken me a while to get over mine but I'm getting there! It must be lovely to be getting the room back to some sort of normality now (well, as normal as you can ever be, lol!!)

  10. Hi Christine. Those teabags are great - well done. Can't imagine myself ever painting on a teabag - but you just never know... Your craft room will soon be back to functioning - all ship-shape and Bristol fashion - it's looking good so far.
    Take care. God bless.
