Busy desk today as I am trying to complete some Vera Lane ATCs. This month's swap is called 'Off with their Heads' and consists of swapping heads and bodies about a bit!
It took some time to size up the images to fit an ATC but now I have them printed out and enjoying colouring them up.
April is a busy month for us, several birthdays, and we have been invited over to Paris again for a birthday. Paris didn't feature on our calendar anymore: travelling is getting difficult for me, then there's the cost and then ..... then..... there's the B word..... and the questions ....will we need visas.... will we be able to leave the country without spending hours in a queue..... how much will the pound devalue etc. lol
Anyhow we took the plunge and booked everything up, same hotel but we are flying this time as we can't be sure how the French will react with Eurotunnel once all this 'stuff' kicks off.
I am now trying to clear all my swaps before we go as well as make all the birthday cards .... too many folks trying to collect the end of year tax rebate!!! (you'll only understand if you've lived life a bit!)
So that's how the desk is today .... hopefully tomorrow we will be out and about posting envelopes, having lunch etc
Oops! nearly forgot .... look what I found ....
Left handed crayons!!!!! he! he! he!
Invited to Paris! How delightful for you

Hi Christine, Paris is lovely, I agree flying is the way to go. driving & parking there is a nightmare. Have a fab time, Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #1 X
ReplyDeleteWell I’m delighted that you’ve taken the Paris plunge...you don’t want to spend the time thinking about wat they’re getting up to without you! You’re very patient with these ATCs and re-sizing etc, it’s interesting that in the same craft that we all get satisfaction from different parts of it! LOL’d at the crayons!
ReplyDeleteGlad you are getting to go to Paris, I loved it! Your atcs sound fab, I hope we see the finished articles Helen #3

ReplyDeleteGood for you, booking your trip to Paris. Enjoy every second. I always had a great time in that city, but so much has changed, I am not sure whether I could still find my way round. Have a great time. If you are there for Easter, it is a special time in that city. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #11
ReplyDeleteHave a fabulous time in Paris Christine. My sister's birthday is tomorrow and my parents had lots of joky comments made when she arrived so fortuitously in time to claim a whole year's rebate. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2

Just pop over to Paris, seems so strange from this far away, guess the B issue is a real trial with every day life over there do pray for you all with it. Love the left handed crayons :D big hugs to you both!

I've a stack of coloring to do also. And traveling ...I totally understand the time and mess traveling has turned into. Use to be so simple. I'll be in Boston visiting and turns out it is the same time as the Boston Maraton...just what I need are mobs of people. Have fun finishing up and organizing all your days . #21 Have a good weekend
