WOYWW #512

If you would like to share your mess desk with like minded friends, please link up with us at Chez Julia (Stamping Ground).  There's lots of us over there, sharing all our little (or not so little) hobbies.  Come on over and join in....

Well, that has been a week I don't want to repeat!!  My laptop stopped performing on Thursday and I have spent the rest of my time (there's not much of that to spare!) trying to sort it all out.  The worst part was that I couldn't get my 'Manager' to work but, once it was up and running, it sorted all the problems out and (hopefully) we are now back to being able to work ....  I fib really ... the worst part was that I could not visit my friends and their desks!
My desk yesterday ....

.... basking in the sunshine ...

I have finished making up the card kits, well, the ones I wanted to do at the time.

I am now moving on to making up some ATCs for one of my Groups.

The Theme for this swap is Wax Crayons.
My DGSDX provided the crayons, he doesn't know as they came from one of the meals we had and then stayed in my bag.
The keen eyed among you may have noticed that they are right handed crayons but I am used to this sort of thing - I just don't read the writing!!!  lol

That's pretty much my week in a few sentences, I did manage to finish the cards -

I'll update this post when I receive my swap returns.

  1. We don't realise how much we do online these days until something goes awry....I'm glad you're back up and running now, it wouldn't be Wednesday without you! You'd better hope that the little 'un doesn't find out you whipped his crayons....you'll be in trouble, lol!!

  2. Glad you managed to get up and running again Christine. There's nothing worse than technology failure at a crucial moment. Love the crayon ATCs. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #5

  3. Its nice to see the free crayons from a meal being put to good use. We had drawers of them when Alex was little and they so seldom got used as he called them 'baby crayons' and wanted proper colouring pencils, fussy child! Thanks for sharing. Happy WOYWW and have a lovely week. With love & God Bless. Caro xxx (#26)

  4. I would be lost without my computer, whilst I do some stuff on the phone, I won't do things like banking or even email (find it annoying beyond belief on such a small screen!) Have a good week, and no more computer issues! Helen #3

  5. I turned up at a hotel for one night last year, only to find I had the only room in the place without WiFi. I am ashamed to say that I felt as if I had been cut off from the whole world. We do depend so much on our gadgets to keep in touch with friends. Hopefully, yours will now behave and let you have a good week. xxx Maggie (Silvercrafter) #8

  6. Hope it's all back up and running as it should be Christine, so frustrating for us all when these things happen. Great use of those (right handed?) crayons, there not just for kids ya know :))

  7. Argh Christine, we’ll done! I’d have stomped on it in frustration and rage. I mean, if manager won’t work...oh the pain! Good to have you back, love a bit of crayon play!

  8. I really love those ATC cards... simple and (maybe just therefor) stunning! Computers can be such a pain... it's funny how the world (life) changed now that we are all on the internet, we 'miss people' that we never saw in real life when we're forced to be off line. I have made a lot of 'friends' online that I never met but still are dear to my heart.. Have a great week and 'see ya' next Wednesday. Hug from Holland! Marit #18

  9. Hi Christine, I agree, we are so used to having Internet access, it's a disaster when it goes off! Still, it does get more stuff done, lol. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #2 X
