WOYWW #546

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top to the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

The Desk:

Very boring this week.  One die cut Christmas Tree, from the works, to try out in 3D eventually.  I am thinking that four of these die cuts folded and stuck together would make a great tree decoration in its own right ..... watch this space.
The spare glasses and some holly brads.
A knitting/crochet pattern book and a magazine that contains a couple of good recipes.
I am making six (yes, SIX) Ballerina Teddies for my Great, Great Nieces.  Not very often one can say that sort of thing!
My Niece said that her son could remember having one when he was small.  Not a Ballerina, probably Robin Hood, or a Fireman etc. but he now would like one for his daughters so had requested them.  Nice to be wanted and the perfect excuse to sit and knit......
I am having a bit of trouble healthwise at the moment and sitting in the warmth and knitting is a big help.  I am sure it is nothing to worry about but one should be careful in this extremely cold weather.....
Short but sweet again.
But doncha no ....
When you get a bladder infection, urine trouble.

Broken pencils are pointless.

lol

    1. I'd love to see some pics of the ballerina teddies! Somehow ballet dancing doesn't seem to go with the usual general physique of teddies so it sounds a lot of fun! We love teddies. My hubby would love to see them too, I know. Sorry you're not feeling well and hope this will improve for you soon. As for your jokes, they had me laughing out loud and I read them to my hubby and all he did was pull a face!!! Lol!

Thank you for your visit. I'm glad you approve of my Tudor gown. I love the idea of the Spiderman pyjama trousers - not sure Henry VIII would know what to make of those! And yes, the peppers were delish. Lots of nice chilli to give them a bit of a kick, and my hubby loved them.

      Happy WOYWW,

  2. You take care of yourself Christine and keep warm, it's been very chilly over the past few days. Glad the knitting takes your mind off it, you will be busy. My Mom knit's toys like those all the time, she really does have draws full of them.. Hugs Tracey #5

  5. Don't talk me about urine infections! That was me last week, on top of a horrible cold. The only way the 3D tree might not work is if they aren't symmetrical, otherwise a great idea - try it out!!Hope you are keeping warm and well. Happy (late) WOYWW Cindy #18

  7. Sorry I’m late! UITs are the worst, they make you feel really rough and hurt your back. Hope you feel better soon, meanwhile, do as youre doing, stay warm and knit plenty! Like the idea of the tree decoration - show and tell when you get around to it won’t you!
