WOYWW #581

Yeah!  Well!  Not been on here much . . . .really don't like this new format . . . .so  trying to sort 'things' out . . . . not much success  . . .  but heigh! ho!
At least I am a bit more au fait with the date and day!!!
It's WEDNESDAY so a bit of WOYWW is called for . . . . .
WOYWW?  What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday of course!  The day I go travelling round as many desks as I can to see what other folks have been up to and, of course, my Thanks go to Julia at Stamping Ground for enabling so many desks and lifestyles to be shared each week.  Thank you.

I am confined to indoors at the moment.  Three of our wonderful chickens escaped yesterday and we didn't notice . . .  during the 'catching' and putting back inside the ranch, the edge of the gate caught my foot and remained there. . . .  needless to say we nearly had chicken for tea!!  lol
I have a hole in my foot . . . . conversation stopper!
I managed to get inside and clean it up but I won't try going out in the garden until it has healed a bit more, so I am going to try to catch up with this Blog . . . . .so far I have updated a couple of spreadsheets, cleared some more boxes and may even finish off tidying the magazines!

So here it is  . . . .The Desk
Julia inspired me last week . . .  or the week before . . . anyhoos it was all Julia's fault!!

Seeing the g-nomies on her desk inspired me to attempt an Alphabet card - G for . . . .

Out came the dies and stamps (and the destructions of course!)
I shall keep going with this card and it will appear on this Blog soon.

I have also bought some new stash - Julia Watts - they are pre-loved dies, one of which I have spent two days trying to work it all out but succeeded in the end . . . .

There's three layers and I couldn't work out how to decorate them!!!  It's for a colour swap.
Will defo have to make some more but might go down the stamping road!
Have a good week, stay safe and healthy.

  1. I’m sorry about your foot – that must have been painful, and it might still is. I hope it will heal fast. I saw your mention of the new blogger. I saw that in other blogs. I don’t know what it means as I published a post last Thursday and it was just the same as all my other posts, nothing new there.

  2. Hi Christine, just popped back to check I'd not missed any desks and there you are. The chickens have a lot to answer for, your foot must be very uncomfortable at the moment. Chickens seem to be escape experts but at least you have the crafting to keep your mind off it. I've tried the new blogger and I really don't have time for it. I've been on their forum and we're not the only ones that are having problems and they have promised to try and fix them but I'm sticking with the old format for as long as it's available. I have more important things to occupy me than an inefficient system. You take care and happy belated woyww, Angela x11x

  3. Oh no Christine, your foot! are you sure you don’t need some medical treatment? Believe me, if it’s a gouge off a gate, it may be deeper to clean than you think. Oooh, hope a few days on that you are comfortable at least. I love the gernomies card, they are gorgeous! And super impressed that you can lay your hands on instructions for a card that is actually relevant to the stamps! Like the flap die and the stitch effect, I think stamping after that lot would be a nice quick way to finish off!!

Like the look of that three layer card!
I wonder if you are getting to terms with the new blogger...it is growing on me!
