 So . . . we made it!

After some of this . . .

. . . . .and some of this . . . .

. . . . .and this  . . .

 . . . .a little of this  . . . . .

. . . it's time for this  . . . .

. . .and of course this!!

lots of clearing out and updating!!

I am working on my Vintage Trains Membership lists ready to start again in the New Year.

I so hope that 2021 brings us all able to move healthily and freely, without fear. . . . . seems so long since we could walk in freedom . . . .

I am thankful that my little and large birds are still ok, even the field mouse that's taken up residence in the garage . . . . . too cold for little ones to try to evade the local owl!!

I am thankful . . . . .

  1. I’m so glad that you had a lovely Christmas, it must have been strange and sad without PJ but thank goodness your family are close. Lovely pics! One thing that this awful year has emphasised and that is that family and friends are what matter most.
Happy New Year to you and the family!

  7. Pleased to see you could spend time with your family over Christmas! We had a zoom call which was great once we all found out how to see each other!!! I am hoping that the vaccine gets rolled out pretty quickly, although I will still want to wear my mask on public transport for a while yet and I've always made my family laugh with my use of hand gel!
Wishing you a Happy New Year and hoping we can meet up later in the year! Hugs, Chrisxx #38

  8. Lovely post Christine, considering this, the strangest Christmas. Doubly so for you without Peter, but I bet you felt his presence everywhere. Now the biggest smile for me - you have mint sauce and cranberry on the turkey dinner! nothing like mint sauce and gravy, but I’ve never had both, it will be tried!

  12. I enjoyed the little glimpses of your Christmas, I smiled when I saw mint sauce with the turkey, my daughter and my husband have it with nearly everything! Curious about the Vintage trains and the birds. I used to have canaries which bought me much pleasure, I had a cockatiel who didn’t like people, she went to a rescue centre where she could fly with other cockatiels and be happy. Now I would love a parrot. But my husband would not! I make do with all the bird visitors to the garden, I think we are buying the wrong seed as so much gets wasted, there is a lovely crop of grass around the bird feeder:). Wishing you a happy and healthy Angela #14
