648! My how time flies! I suppose it is all the fun I have been having that makes it go so fast . . . . lol.
To be frank, I have been so busy there hasn't been much time to blog but now I have to take things a bit easier, sitting at my desk blogging is about it!
The desk:
There is a pink glow to this picture because it was taken on Tuesday afternoon and the sun is shining full blast into my room. Did you read and inwardly digest that? The sun is shining! ! ! ! ! !It is still cold but I don't have to go out into it thanks to my wonderful daughters.
Anyhow . . . .the desk . . . .
Just the laptop on it for the moment. I am working on my Blog, hopefully bringing it up to date.
Sharp eyed folk might spot the new picture on the left from my Hero, it warms my heart to think of him . . .
But I am ok now so long as I do not overdo things, so I sit and type!!
I shall have lots more time to catch up with everyone so beware . . . . . .Mrs Pink is on the prowl! ! !
OMG - gotta love the sunshine. I actually have it here in my office this morning but all too soon the sun will mean it's blinkin' cold. I get it, in theory, that the cloud cover makes it warmer somehow, but I always see sunshine and think warmth. In the UK that isn't always the case. Ah well, at least it's bright outinstead of sark and dismal so I'll take that as a win...

Wow, that really is a lovely glow in your craft room, we have sun too, it just makes you feel better! That’s a lovely pic, hope it made you feel a bit better. I’m glad you’re being a good girl and taking things a bit more quietly too xx

It's great when the sun pours in through the window, until you can't see that is. I'll only pull the curtain as a last resort, after all my desk light is a SAD light, which my husband can't stand the brightness of, it is my usual coping mechanism for the shorter days.
ReplyDeleteNice to be back at my desk after the trauma of hand surgery, not completely fixed as my wrist is jolly sore and my thumb isn't moving fully yet, could be a few more months but I can do most things again just need to be jolly careful. BJ#15
I must remember that pink curtains add that lovely glow on the sunny days. I can remember a pair of pink curtains with little sprigs of white flowers on them but I cannot remember where they were in the house - not this one, one previous to this. This old age!
ReplyDeleteHope you stay nice and warm and cosy whilst getting on with your blogging and just enjoy your grandson's picture.
Hugs, Neet 12 xx
What a lovely get well card - I can see why it warms your heart - you have a little artist there I think. I love the glow in your room from the sunshine - it looks so cosy.
ReplyDeleteHope you have a good week, keep taking things easy,

You're right if the time is passing quickly then you're either very busy working or enjoying yourself. I've sent you a separate email relating to the tower card. The light is not good for taking photographs at the moment but the sun is very welcome. Loving the art work from your Hero, it's beautiful. Wishing you a very happy and creative woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you are able to take things easy and work on the laptop a bit, Christine. At first I thought, what an unusual design for a laptop with all the curvy stripes, till I realised it was a reflection of the curtains! So lovely to see the sun, wasn't it. The kitties spent several hours out in it yesterday but have been snuggling up against much colder weather today. The picture by your grandson is so precious! Definitely a keeper!
ReplyDeleteThank you for your visit, and especially for your good wishes for my hubby. He's had a colonoscopy before (when his diverticular disease was diagnosed) so he's familiar with the ropes. As for me, I haven't felt the need to take my mind off things at all with this bout of cancer - I've been completely at peace about it throughout, except for the niggling worry about the possibility of chemo and being made to feel so poorly again, and losing my hair - neither of which happened! The Lord just said "Trust Me," and I did! I am so glad you like my cards, which I had tremendous fun makng.
Happy WOYWW and God bless,

Good to see you Christine - I have just read back to see what you've been up to and hope you are feeling much better very soon. Take care and rest up - hurrah for the Hero!! Thanks for visiting. Helen #3
ReplyDeleteSUch a lovely drawing Christine - enough to warm your heart even if the sun weren't out. Keep taking it easy and here's to feeling fully better soon. Thanks for the visit. Stay safe and Happy WOYWW. Sarah #4
ReplyDeleteSorry so late, couldn't link in agai n!Your grandson's picture is great! In the park, as I spy a slide! I have black out curtains as well as a blind in my craftroom. Not coz it gets too much sun but next door has a very bright security light that comes on everytime a twig moves! (Or Mr Jinx the cat nips out!) We've covered up all our 'borrowed' lights, so it's not really a problem. Rest up. feel better soon! Happy WOYWW!?((Lyn))#24
ReplyDeleteLovely to have some sunshine, the temperature has dropped here and it’s rather cold. Lovely drawing, grandchildren do warm the heart. Take it easy, Angela. #14

ReplyDeleteI hope you’re getting a share of sunshine Mrs Pink, even under glass it’s good for you! I hope you’re feeling better every day and so glad to read the girls are looking after you. And being bombarded with art can only be a joy when it comes from such a loving source. Don’t over do the keyboard work!
