WOYWW #651

WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page.  Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.

Bright and early this morning.  I am wearing a heart monitor which is not really conducive to sleep, little box clipped to bra and wires dangling . . .  only for 24 hours so not too bothered by it.

Lots of desk pictures for you but this is the one I will really own . . . .

Just before I thought to take the photo the desk looked like this . . . .
Can you guess what I've been making? he! he!

Yes, the Christmas boxes have been out and used.

Now the desk looks like this . . . .

Peter's box of butterfly stamps and dies.  He had this idea of making an album of butterflies, he started it at one of the Crops, but it was never finished as the novelty faded and work took over.

Today the box is out and about to be used on some cards . . . . .

I am taking advantage of no Membership work to be done and making lots of cards, having a lovely time!

So that's what I am up to but it will be all change soon as I go desk hopping for a visit and a nosey and some inspiration . . .

  2. I remember wearing one of those monitor thingies, but I am sure mine was more plastered to me than clipped to my bra. Hope whatever there are testing you for comes good and there is nothing to worry about.
I also hope that using the butterfly box gives you comfort, especially at this time of year.
    Hugs, Neet 2 xx

  3. Oh lovely Christine, a box full of memories to use and enjoy, just the job. I deeply hope that your heart monitor 24 hours have nothing to report, honestly the effects of your being ill are so far stretching, I hope that generally you feel improved?

  8. I need to completely re-organize my sewing room to get the door to the Christmas cupboard open! I moved a big table in front of it after breaking up Christmas last year and now, darn it, it has come around again!
    LOL!

Love the before and after - my favourite WOYWW views :D
(I should be cooking but I can't help but desk hop for a bit!)
    Happy WOYWW

  9. Another little Christmas workspace - Santa would be proud!! Hope the heart monitor thingy doesn't flag anything up but better safe than sorry I guess. My desk is never photo ready, it is either just a heap or empty. I never seem to remember to take the photo when I am actually doing something intersting!! Vagabond? What Vagabond? It is one of the few machines I DON't own so I think you may have been looking at a cardboard box lol. Happy WOYWW, have a great week, stay safe stay well, love n hugs Cindyxx #19

  11. I hope your heart monitor does it's job and you get good, positive results. Your butterfly box of memories will be lovely to spend time crafting with. I just delved under one of my cupboards and discovered a boxful of tiny Christmas mice pieces all ready to make into little tree decs so I took time out to make a couple this afternoon.(I bet they have been there since I moved in here 6 years ago)! xx Jo

  14. Heart monitors are so uncomfortable aren't they...not conducive to sleep which means that they don't really get an accurate measure of real life. I hope it is all successful for you. I hope you have enjoyed your card making today. The butterflies look lovely. Happy WOYWW. Take care and stay safe. With love & God Bless, Caro xxx (#13)

  15. Hi Christine, I grinned to see the butterflies out ( my friend at work loves them) and I plan on making her upcoming birthday card with one on the wall behind my table ( so I remember and can find the stamp faster haha ) I hope the monitoring goes well and you are able to rest around that. ~Stacy #22
