Thank you for all your good wishes last week for my birthday and your lovely cards. I had a great day with DDC, including a Fish & Chip lunch! DDN popped in on the evening and brought me a CD - Cliff's latest - just what I wanted.
WOYWW - All the deets on how to link up etc. and, more importantly, why you should, can be found at the top of the page. Thank you Julia for hosting another week of fun and mayhem.
Well, if your cards haven't been posted by now . . . .
The finishing touches were added to the 'Village' over the weekend
All the folk are out and about, the children are joining in and the tramline is in action (only runs when Grandma is there) and all the good folk are waiting ready to go home and wrap their parcels . . . I've included a short video at the end of this post, hoping it works of course. The desk is still churning out Christmas cards, plenty for me and the Church next year.
My screen is . . . .
May we take this opportunity to wish you all a Christmas filled with love, hugs and laughter . . . . they're the best pressies in my opinion . . . . . . . . and the video . . . .
Family is def the best gift at any time of the year...but esp at Christmas.
ReplyDeleteHoping you have a wonderful Christmas.

Love the video, little lights make me smile. Is this set up at your home? Fun project to do together. And love your photo, here you look just like a friend of mine, she has that same fun smile. So glad you had time together, I miss that, one son is 3+ hours away and when weather is bad we celebrate later....the other in in Germany so it's video visits. Cheers to you and yours this holiday season.
ReplyDeleteAww, that’s such a great pic of you and the boys, really special. Lovely to see them help you with the Christmas village as well. I smiled when you said you had the same button box! It was my mum’s and was the thing I rescued first when we cleared the house.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very Merry Christmas and a happy and healthy 2023!

ReplyDeleteThe video worked perfectly, VERY impressive! I have to show it to my hubby. We have a small on one top of the TV, it's up all year 'round and is getting too big for the space. I'm thinking we need to re-locate! Great ideas to take from yours, I love how it's under the tree! Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family! Lindart #17
ReplyDeleteOh you’re right Christine, love hugs and laughter, the more the better! Your video made me fill up, that village is so beautiful and it reminds me of how over the past years Peter has been so involved with it too. Just lovely. I didn’t realise there was a pond, it’s absolutely amazing! Have a gorgeous Christmas. Xxxx
