What happened there then?
. . . . another week just whooshed by . . .
. . . . . . took me ages to get there and then . . . .
WHOOSH!
Now it's back to 'normal' . . . . the desk . .
Lots going on here . . . . painting ATCs pink . . . . different!Over on the left we have one of my External drives, this one is important to me as it contains most of my digital images for all my artworks.
On the right we have just one of my boxes of paints; recycled catfood boxes were so useful and just the right size. I covered a few of the others but then decided to put them end to the front so I could get more one each shelf . . . now I only see the ends!!! he! he!
Then in the centre the actual works in progress. Our Hostess issues these 'House' challenges once or twice a year and I'm always up for creating them . . . .
I intend to go back to my old format of posting all my artworks, just for my records, so apologies in advance if you find it boring . . . .
I also hope to post about my adventures outside, even going to new hospitals and my non-visits to others . . . . . oh! yes! 21st Century doctoring!!
So there is today's post . . . . exciting wasn't it?!?!?!
have a good week, please take care when 'first footing' and . . . . I know where the coal is . . . . . . HAPPY NEW YEAR!
I think I must have missed the "house" challenge, but really like what you are doing there. Happy New Year BJ#1

Cat boxes seem to crop up for storage with us crafters on more than one occasion. Great for reinventing, fukn doing and kind on the purse strings.
ReplyDeleteLove the new format, great idea Christine.
Have a lovely year ahead, look forward to reading about it.
Blessings to you
Neet xx
Hi Christine you're so right it seems ages to Christmas and then it's gone in a flash. Loving your busy desk, the houses had to be pink of course. Wishing you a very happy New Year. Hugs, Angela x15x
ReplyDeleteGordon always used to do the First Footing when he was younger as he had such dark hair - his mum was Scottish so Hogmanay was always important! We don’t have any coal now so your’s might come in handy, lol! Lovely to see some New Year’s crafting, I look forward to seeing what you make through 2023.
ReplyDeleteWishin you health and happiness,

I've not got back to any crafting yet. Re ice rink I got there after grandchildren had started. I had a lot of trouble walking from Carrs Lane over to there. I hate being slow and can't walk like I used to :-(. My D.I.L. said it took them about 15minutes to get boots. It's all a bit of a con I think. They paid for 45minutes, queued for 15 of those! People operating it are quite miserable. Also quite a few on there so not a lot of room to skate freely. The next session was not as busy.
ReplyDeleteWishing you a very happy and healthy 2023. Anne x 17
Love the pink houses! love the idea that you’ll post all your stuff too, how can that possibly be boring! I know what you mean about the speed of the week, talk about a flash!
