Well, I'm still here with no sign of a going home date!
I don't mind though, the staff are wonderful, the food is good and I am warm without the worry of big bills. I will probably be sent home just before the snow hits town!! lol
I look forward to crafting madly when I do get home and being able to share some photos.... until then remember this is a New Year, all nice and clean....don't get it dirty too soon!!
UPDATE
Sorry my friends for the cryptic clue last week. I only posted the Menu I was greeted with on arrival cos I didn't people thinking "oh! No! How awful!" when the choices were....Christmas on my own, suffering or in hospital, making friends. I have had a wonderful Christmas and New Year just like being on holiday!!! So that's how I'm thinking of it. Always wanted to go away for Christmas lol
Please be happy for me not sorry or sad.. .
So sorry to hear you are in hospital Christine. Hope you are a lot better and able to go home soon. A quick visit this week due to new windows being installed (and of course it has started raining). Stay safe and Happy WOWYW. Sarah #14
ReplyDeleteIt's crazy, isn't it, that you could feel being in hospital is a good alternative to the high cost of heating?? I know you (sort of) jest but it really is getting out of control. And WE look forward to you crafting as well - I always find inspiration in your posts :)
ReplyDeleteHappy 2024 WOYWW!

Well, I am a bit dumbfounded this morning Christine. I have scrolled back and can find no mention of you being admitted to hospital but there you are by the sounds of it. I hope you a re soon well and able to be sent home if that is what you want. Otherwise sit back and enjoy being waited on if you feel well enough. Do take care, I don't like to think of you being there.

I did exactly the same as Neet!! OK, I'm not going to be sorry for you as you are putting such a positive spin on it. Whatever it is, I hope you are well soon (but if you are having a good time maybe spin it out a bit...) and that it is nothing serious. Have a great week, love n hugs Cindy xx #15
ReplyDeleteI scrolled back too as I was sure I'd stopped by everyone's desk last week. Didn't clock where the menu was from, sorry. Hope you are OK. I had Christmas in hospital when I had my son 25yrs ago. Wouldn't let hubby take me home till I'd had my Christmas dinner in hospital and then one at home in the evening as well. Hungry times having a baby! My lasting memory is the bottle of expressed milk I'd just produced sitting on their (the nurses) Christmas buffet table, so funny. Hugs BJ#12
ReplyDeleteSo sorry you're in hospital, but I so love your outlook around it. Blessings of 2024 to you. 💕
ReplyDeleteoh heck, I didn't study the menu closely enough last week!! glad you are keeping a positive outlook and hope you can go home soon. take care and sending hugs. Helen #3
