Masterboards

 Somehow I don't think I've quite got the idea of Masterboards, will need more practice!!!

This is the first one I used . . . . . 

The wipe off paper, with its gold splashes calls for some flowers.

  

After stamping and cutting, I added the sentiment and a few diecuts.  I am very pleased with this card.

I shall use some of the leftover on another card but don't hold your breath!!

The small piece of blue with gold splashes became a fireworks card.

 

The purple and yellow paper became a background to my Vera Lane image.  I just happened to have a purple one!!!

It is good to have something other than rain to look at this morning!  My big toe . . . . on my left foot!!  Dropped a rather large, heavy electronic game (from the 70s) on it this morning.... well, I didn't actually drop it, it fell out of the box!!  lol  The air has gone back to its normal colour and I have had a quick lesson in limping!  

I am now looking at life in that this family are getting everything done and dusted while in lockdown and it can only get better . . . . . don't hold your breath!

The start of the masterboards!     And no cup of coffee!!

I need to make some cards that are long overdue so today is the day!  One of them is a colour swap so I started with some paints of the relevant colours, then just used two colours with a touch of gold.  The one on the far right is my wipe off but it looks rather good actually.

I have sent for some stencils from Giovanna, (yes, I know, I just love those stencils and they are my size!) so I think I shall have to make some more masterboards when they arrive . . . .

Hopefully I can post tomorrow and show off the cards .. .

WOYWW #606

Happy WOYWW everyone!  We meet again and have a catch up and natter . . . .

My desk . . .

What's that?  Doesn't look much different?  How dare you!  there's a different mug of coffee for a start off.

Life is still full of positives . . . it's still raining, still have a sore mouth, still working on Vintage Trains membership . . . . .

The rain is new really, it only started last evening . . . . the slow persistent type . . . .

My mouth is not quite so sore, of that I am sure.  I removed the last stitch yesterday, I kept catching it with my tongue so I thought better out than in now . . . . it has been ten days since surgery.

I just have a few phone calls to make now and my membership work will be completed for this month!

And then . . . . then . . . .I can start creating!!  YEAH!!! 

I want to make some master boards . . . I SO want to make some . . . . and I will . . . .

 So we are dependent on our machines again . . . . . dare I wish everyone a happy lockdown?!?!

The desk:

As you can see nowt much on there.  Paperwork still waiting to be sorted, coffee waiting to be slurped . . . . . on that note, I have had minor surgery on my mouth so cannot eat properly yet . . .  slurping and painkillers are the order of the day!!  lol

I am still knitting, preemie cardies have changed to preemie hats to use up the leftover wool.  I am collecting knitting patterns at the moment for small dolls which, hopefully, will use all the coloured lengths of wool I have left.

I have cleared most of the Christmas decs, just the tree to be taken down - which may still be up on the 6th!  Never been so late . . . . 

Thank you to all my visitors last week, my days are hit and miss so I did not manage to visit everyone but appreciate those who visited me.

2020 - 2021

Well, hello 2021 . . . . surely you can't be any worse than 2020 . . . surely not . . .  

I pray that this coming year will bring more cheer and happiness than last year.  Let the bells of prosperity and happiness and good health ring LOUD!

I am working on my Vintage Trains Membership lists ready to start again in the New Year.

I so hope that 2021 brings us all able to move healthily and freely, without fear. . . . . seems so long since we could walk in freedom . . . .

I am thankful that my little and large birds are still ok, even the field mouse that's taken up residence in the garage . . . . . too cold for little ones to try to evade the local owl!!

I'm still here although not crafting, not in my craftroom actually . . . . .

I have no interest here, my laptop is sooooo slow and then to add the Awful New Blogger . . . . . just no.

I do have to come here today though to wish you all the best Christmas you can have under the circumstances . . . . 

I cannot add a label to my post.

I can type, I hope I can save and publish . . . . . . .

After all the above and leaving the laptop for a couple of hours it looks like we have lift off!!!

I have been knitting and generally sorting (seems as though it has been going on forever!)

Yesterday we went to the local park to visit the Memory Tree . . . . we added our bauble for Peter and wished him Happy Christmas.

In case you wondered . . . .

A golden train for a golden man . . . 

We shall all be together on Christmas Day, having ourselves our mad, glad time.

I hope you will be too but if not, then enjoy the day and remember the real reason for Christmas.
