Background Technique one

I call this smooshing.
I used an A5 white card and smooshed two distress inks onto the card.
I upended the distress ink and smooshed it over the card in a circular movement keeping
the colours separate and then put to one side to dry.

Once the colours were dry I then patted the second colour randomly over the originals.

I keep my mini inks in the acetate packet they came in and this is stored in a larger box, I hope to keep all the shades of one colour together ....
.... when I have acquired more colours!!!

These are the original sheets, now to cut out my backgrounds.

I will use the retained backgrounds to make my own ATCs, it's just a shame I never looked at next year's colours listing .....
