I am still organising all my stash, I removed another bag of 'rubbish', three more boxes were chopped up and a teeny tiny bit more space cleared in my studio. As I stand in my room and look round, it appears to be just the same mess, chaos, jumble, call it what you want, it don't look much more different from when I moved my stash into it!!
But you're here to see my desk ....
I am changing food tins into pencil/pens/brush containers. I have covered one of my catfood boxes and am now filling it with these decorated tins .... it's taking some time as we don't eat much tinned food, I like fresh .... or as fresh as I can buy from a supermarket!!! I need another two and the boxes will be full and then I can find all my writing, painting, brushing implements in one place!
As you can see, in the lower left is the Biro drawing and the other cards - still waiting to be completed.
I have posted out some cards this week, but they were completed before the move.......
Today I am looking after Little Soldier on my own today as PJ is over at the new house with SIL erecting a new BBQ .... yes, erecting it as it is humongous! It has been kindly donated to them, well, to us .... but it is far too big for the two of us so it has another home.
.........and maybe some of this .....
.... if the temperature climbs up into the 20°Cs then we will definitely be inside.
Happy WOYWWeek everyone, lots of hugs and laughter.
I know the feeling only too well - you tidy up, you get rid of stuff and then you sit back and it looks no different. There has to be an inch or two of space there wasn't before - believe me.
ReplyDeleteWhat better thing could you do than have the laughter of a little one in the house - enjoy your day.

I'm with you and Neet, the tidier I make it, the more I think I haven't done anything! Love the covered tins - very good idea...are you gonna chop the box down a bit so you can see the colourful tins?
ReplyDeleteHi Christine,I agree it always looks as if you've not actually achieved anything! Love the storage tins too. Have a great week, Hugs, Shaz #9 xxx
ReplyDeleteGood luck with all the sorting and tidying. It can be frustrating at times but worth it in the end.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week

Love the little DIY's, I need to do more of that! I don't envy you on the weeding out, but I know it must be done! My problem is once I get started I can't allow myself to stop and then I'm just plain bushed! I know it will be wonderful in the end! :) Blessings, Felicia #42
ReplyDeletehi there, I'm trying to weed out stuff as well. It's not easy is it. The BBQ sounds fab. Anne x #17
ReplyDeleteMore recycling, we are so environmentally friendly I think. I need to do some sorting but don't know when it will happen but well done you. Have a great woyww, Angela x 19
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with Neet. I purge, then purge again. I think this stuff multiplies overnight! Great recycling ideas.

I too am trying to organize and tidy up the room of stash so I can find something again. Recycling, giving away, selling…what ever it takes. It just seems to propagate when I give it room! Have a great week. Vickie #11
ReplyDeleteBut you know you've done all the hard work so can feel a little bit virtuous!! Even if it does all the look the same as before, lol! Great pics of your GS - hasn't he grown?!!
