Background Techniques two and eight

Backgrounds two and eight are experiments .... aren't they all?!1

I chose several coloured A5 cards and spritzed them with my sprays.
Some of these sprays are my own concoctions, made from mica powders + water, Distress Spray stains, Perfect Pearls Mists and Moon Glow's Glitz Spray (had these last ones so long and only just using them - maybe I should enter Darnells NBUS challenge!!)

I used the sprays liberally, especially the Perfect Pearls as I love the finished effect.

After the cards were dry, I added some Brushos powders to one or two of the cards and spritzed again to activate the Brushos just a taj.

Some time later when the cards had dried I decided to emboss them - I could do with the practice!

This was interesting as
a) I couldn't remember which plates to use in my Grand Calibur!
b) I couldn't remember which way in to the embossing folder to place the card!!

Lots of fun..... one or two sheets were creased, and nearly splitting, but I had enough to cut my samples.

The end results were some shiny embossed colours, some with sprays of colour on the embossing.
I am very pleased with the results and look forward to using some of them on my cards.
