WOYWW #411

What'sOnYourWorkdeskWednesday - if you want to find out more then checkout the WOYWW tab at the top of the page - and our thanks go to Julia for hosting this weekly meet up......... AND .....thank you for all your kind get well wishes for PJ.

Give Glory unto God for a discovery and healing!
PJ is back home, very weak, breathless but surviving, as am I (deets on my other Blog - Recollections).
It has been a hectic, wearying and worrying week but, Praise God, we have survived.  I won't go into PJ's diagnosis as it has not been confirmed and there could be more to deal with.  Nothing life threatening, just need time to find out and deal with it all.
I have been exhausted at the end of each day......... never really made the end ..... came home and went to bed!!  lol
BUT!
The desk ......
I did manage to finish the swaps for this month and get them ready for posting.  I am now playing with paints, stamps and papers ...... sounds good doesn't it??
So far I have used paints, stencils and Distress Inks.  When I get chance I will be stencilling a bit more, adding some stamps and then cutting to size.
That's me done then, off to look after Little Soldier at his house today for a few hours ..... see you when I get back.

  1. Good news, sort of - you sound so tired. Surprising how adrenelin kicks in and when it leaves it exhausts us.
Anyway, you have a lovely desk this morning, a riot of colour and colours that look so well together. Nice, bright and sunny.
Thanks for sharing - and take care.
    Hugs, Neet 22 xx

  5. Mind you look after yourself as you need the strength to look after PJ. Glad to hear things are getting better there though, praise our Lord indeed. Lovely piece on your desk today, love all the colours and stenciling.

  7. I'm so glad he's back home...what a relief. I really do understand your position as I was in the same place ten years ago when it was G in hospital for a quad heart bypass. I had to keep everything going, including two teenage boys who were terrified their dad was going to die. It wasn't until after that I fell apart a bit. Hoping you take care too.
Meanwhile I adore that background you've made - fab colours and patterns. Keep crafting, it helpsQ

  12. Glad things are looking up and PJ is back home. I can empathize looking after someone in the hospital, I did that for my Dad on top of a full-time job many years ago. Glad you got some "me" time to create! Thanks for sharing, Lindart #35
