WOYWW #442

Our weekly meetup of show & tell workdesks ...... love this little get together every week..... in the comfort of our own homes ..... come and join us ..... our Hostess Julia (deets at the top of the page) won't mind - I'm sure she'd say 'more the merrier' so come on in .....

Good desk this week!!!

I have started!!
Yep!
I have everything together - cards, stamps, envelopes, paper for inserts, even selection of pens!!
So it's going to start .... at the weekend probably ..... that's about when this layout will annoy me enough into to 'doing it'.
All my other jobs are done, one set of swaps posted off, one more nearly finished, one still to do but ......still eight days to go to the end of November ...... did you see that?  Eight days!
I still have get my kitchen finished, for a 6ft square room it is taking ages - two months already!
I have another quote now which I have accepted we just wait the arrival of the painter .....this will be the fourth one who has either looked and/or quoted ..... would be nice to have some order in the house for Christmas!
Thank you to all my visitors last week, I think I managed to visit the majority of desks, arriving late as I did it took up most of the week.
The garden looks gorgeous, the car is shining and a bonus of a repaired garage makes me smiling again..... just don't look at the desk!

  1. Do hope you get your kitchen finished for Christmas. I cannot imagine trying to cook a dinner in it unfinished. Isn't it annoying when things drag on?
I take it we are talking "C" cards here? Well, last night (or the wee small hours, I couldn't sleep) I set to and searched for my "C" stamps. Found two I might use but had difficulty in getting the look I want. Back to the drawing board, or maybe the die cut machine!

  2. That tiny little photo, enlarged has some very pretty things. Little hearts stowed for use, pretty cards, stamps and that pretty color pink thing.. We too have had dreary weather, which really pulls me down. 45 mph winds raging across the plains. I hope too you get your kitchen done way before Christmas, I've put a remodel in the back of my head, just don't want the mess right now. Happy Woyww.

  3. Hi Christine, I do hope you get the kitchen sorted by Christmas- even in such a small room- and I know the feeling, ours is a Victorian terrace with the 'galley' style kitchen,- you couldn't swing a mouse in ours, let alone a cat! Liking the Christmas cards on show. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #4 XxX

  10. Sorry to hear your house is in a state of upheaval, and I hope at least the kitchen will be done in time for Christmas - what a nightmare if it isn't!! I'm amazed you are able to do any creating with all that going on! Thank you for your lovely comment - yes, the kitties look so adorable in their suits and they are staying in them for another week at least, till the vet is happy that their wounds are safe. Lily is now on some stuff to settle her tummy till she finishes her antibiotics so hopefully she'll be feeling a bit more lively soon. Glad you like my socks - I've made good headway on the second pair this p.m. - lots of bright colours and patterns!

    Happy WYOWW,

  12. Happy WOYWW. I hope you do get your kitchen sorted. We are going to have the decorators back in next year, as it has been over 4 years since we renovated the farmhouse and there are some changes/repairs that need to be done. We were renting the house opposite when the original work was done, so not looking forward to living here when they are around (although they are very tidy). Perhaps we can time it when we go to Spain? Ali x #3
