What a busy week, creating and experimenting and contacting and travel arranging and computering and ...... the list goes on!
But here we are .... an oasis in the week ...... What's On Your Workdesk Wednesday ....
the desk .....
Just finished a birthday card involving dachshound dogs and about to start on St George's Day cards. A few pieces of water colour paper with wipe offs from the card and..... and ..... four new brushes!!! They are supposed to be ergonomic but when I tried ergonomic equipment before it made my hands ache.... we will see .....They look pretty and they were the right price (which helps!).
Today I am without Little Soldier (boo! hoo! 😢) but we will be together on Friday so I will fill my days with creating and visiting.
Hope the weather is better where you are, enjoy your week.
Those look cute stamps Christine. I love the mop up pieces; they will make great backgrounds! Have fun with little soldier on Friday. Happy WOYWW, Sarah #16
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, great backgrounds, and smashing stamps too. I have some of those paintbrushes, and some embossing stylus tools with the 'softgrip' handles, I must say I find them quite comfortable, hope you do too. Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 XxXx
ReplyDeleteHi Christine. Love the sheets of "wipe-offs" - definitely good enough for backgrounds!!
ReplyDeleteThose stamps are cute - never, in all my life, have I thought of making cards for St George's Day... there's a first!
Take care. God bless.

Hi Christine, interesting stamps, not seen them before. I presume you were joking when you said you hoped we had sunny skies, it's pouring it down though it was dry this morning when we walked the dogs. Thanks for the visit to mine and happy woyww, Angela x17x
ReplyDeleteThose new brushes are very pretty. I hope they are comfortable. Loving those watercolor backgrounds. Can't wait to see what you do with them. :-)

Hiya Christine - thank you for popping by my blog earlier - really cheered me up. Hernia is inoperable due to its size- have had it for many years but the cough that came with that dreadful flu bug in January just about finished it it off. Will find a way I’m sure but it has been a bit lowering. Looking forward to visiting you again soon. Love Debbie xxx
ReplyDeletewow, never sent cards for St Georges day... no, no sunny skies here (although we did for a short time earlier) thanks for dropping by. Helen #2
ReplyDeleteDachshunds are really big at the moment!! Well, craftwise anyhow - I've seen fabric in Cardiff today that had the little perishes scampering all over it. Really cute but I was strong and didn't buy any. Hope those new brushes etc help - I have fat handled crochet hooks and they definitely are better for my arthritic hand.
ReplyDeleteHope you have fun with your GS on Friday!
Hugs LLJ 10 xxxx
Happy WOYWW & thanks for sharing! xx Jan (36)
ReplyDeleteAw, I’m fond of a sausage dog. I wonder if you’ll get use to the brushes, I can’t imagine that there’s a wrong or right way to hold them, so I guess they should be comfortable for hours on end!
ReplyDeleteI honestly thought the mop up pieces were deliberate pieces - I do hope you use them in something.
ReplyDeleteSorry I'm late - hope you are having a good week.
