The Desk....
Not all of it is covered up!!!
I am about to try my hand at Shaving Foam printing (marbling) so I thought I had better be prepared for some mess! The foam is at the left back next to the cup of coffee .... note to self - don't get them mixed up.....
The Acrylic paint is on the right..... popped into Cass last week, spent more than I wanted to but the rather large tubes of acrylic paint were on sale at a ridiculous low price ....
I will post the results .... or not results.... here on the Blog soon.
Short but sweet as we are off to collect Flump ..... he's having a morning nap so not quite so much of a rush to get out!!
have a good week

Hope you've had fun with the shaving foam. I must be one if the few people who dont like (doing) it results are great but not my thing Helen #3
ReplyDeleteI have not done this technique since I left South Africa... Have a stash of paper that I brought with me though... Hope yours turn out how you imagined! I used Tim's distress sprays, not acrylic paint... #18
ReplyDeleteYou are going to love the shaving foam, the effects are brilliant. When I do this I have trouble stopping! Wishing you a happy crafty woyww, Angela x12x
ReplyDeleteNow that's what you call prepared for mess! I hope you had fun doing it, I used to love marbling with kids at school, it's like magic. Hope you didn't end up covered in shaving foam from top to toe!!

I haven’t used acrylic paint with shaving foam, only alcohol or runnier inks. Interesting..... love the preparation for mess, entirely suitable if you ask me!
ReplyDeleteI've never tried the saving foam technique - must put it on the list to try. Your mess preparation seems very sensible to me! Happy WOYWW. Have a lovely week, with love and God Bless, Caro xxx (#20)
ReplyDeleteHi Christine, it is indeed a bit of a messy technique. I finally went with lining a baking tray with kitchen foil, so I could just roll it up and dispose of it when done!Have a lovely week, Hugs, Shaz #6 X
ReplyDeleteLove the shaving foam technique even though it can get messy, Christine. I've never tried it with acrylic paint though, usually Distress re inkers or alcohol inks. I look forward to seeing the results. Happy WOYWW. Sarah #2
ReplyDeleteI'm really intrigued by this shaving foam technique. It's not something I've ever tried, and I really look forward to seeing the results.
