WOYWW #565

HELLO

Hope you weren't worrying too much, I've been rather busy and ...... sick.......
Thought this was an appropriate date to make my return ..... albeit late in the day!!

As you can see, nothing much going on ..... I do sit here and read the social media ....that's about it......

Thank you to everyone who have been posting, especially ShazandDoug for their funnies, loved all the updates, shared work, and the funnies..... the funnies were real good medicine!

I am just praising God for bring me through this, it has been very bad, much worse than the Asian Flu of the 60's (and I measure everything by that!).  But God is Good.... all the time ....

I am on the mend (again) and able to start creating..... lots of ideas in my head, now I need to translate them into creations.

Fortunately for us, our week for shopping came round at the start of the month so fridges, freezers and pantry were filled before I went down really ill (doctor says'suspected covid-19 as there are no tests available to confirm' which was great!).  But that is behind me now, forever I hope, and I have a lot to catch up on.  lol

Hopefully you are all well and warm, please stay that way.  Better to be healthy and alone then sick and social .....

  1. Hi Christine, so happy to hear you are getting better. We too tend to keep the freezer well stocked, and a well stocked pantry of non perishables too, so it's only been fresh stuff Dougs needed to pop out for. Happy the funnies have amused you!Stay safe, Love & Hugs, Shaz #7 XxX

  2. Goodness, I had no idea you'd been so ill and with Covid 19 too, I'm so very sorry to hear that Christine and am mightily relieved that you're through the worst of it. My niece and family in the Midlands have had it as well and hopefully are now out the other side. We are being very careful here and trying hard to stay out of harm's way, thank goodness for the internet, crafting friends and other nonsense that cheers us up. Hope you're back on fighting form very very soon.

  7. Hi Christine, so glad to hear you are on the road to recovery, but sorry to hear you were so poorly. I'm staying in, staying safe and have been working from home for a couple of weeks now. When we need fresh food, Mr M is going out for it. I can't be doing with supermarkets at the best of times, even less so now. I hope you get crafting again soon, until then all the funniest are a good tonic. Have a lovely week and stay safe and well, Heather xx #33

  12. I didn't realise you'd been so poorly, Christine, but very glad to hear you are on the mend now, and feeling like being online again. Take plenty of time to rest and recover! Your desk looks extremely tidy, but as you get better, I expect that will change! Like you, I am finding all the funnies and encouragement on WOYWW and elsewhere absolutely brilliant. We have a very amusing man at our church and he emails everyone on a daily basis with fun things, little video clips of his walks by the sea, and is also a hub of news. Lots of people are phoning to make sure each other is OK. I don't know what we'd do without technology!

Get well soon, keep smiling, and God bless!
    Happy belated WOYWW,

  14. Good Morning Christine. So glad to hear you are on the mend. Take it one day at a time, here you can't go anywhere anyway so enjoy your home space. I am thankful for WOYWW and the friendships I've made, lots of cleaning/sorting/donating to clear clutter. Our area is rural so it's really quiet, we do have neighbors with the Virus, returned home from SPAIN and now are ill. I would like to see SUNSHINE and SPRING. We had 2 nice days 60's and no wind and I walked and enjoyed the outdoors. Today 25, and ice. by 4pm things will melt with a warm up. REALLY? You take care, Blessings to you and yours and enjoy some fun inside things. 🧡🧡

  15. Sorry I’m late. Delighted to see you here, am so so sorry to read that you’ve been so poorly, bet that you’re easily exhausted for a while now. Good grief Christine..how is Peter - has he stayed well, did you have to lock yourself in the box room? really look forwards to seeing you get stuck in again, when you’re feeling it. Neet and Shaz are doing a great job on the old FB aren’t they!

  17. OH! Christine, I am so sorry to hear you have "suspected" Covid, I can't believe that your neighbour still had visitors knowing all that has been asked of people and that you were ill too. How stupid are people. You must be feeling good to have come through it safe. Take your time and enjoy starting to feel well again. Thanks for the reminder of the 60's flu, I had it too LOL.
    Keep safe and well
    Faith x
