Remembrance Sunday
So many memories come flooding back but today is also the Anniversary of my First Blog Post, November 8th 2008.
I started out just recording the family history and stories so they would not be lost to time in my first Blog - My Recollections . . . . .
Then I added another Blog so that I could record my cards which I so enjoy making and swapping - Cardius Bloggus . . . . .
Then along came another Blog, recording the ATCs that I had discovered and started to make and swap - Artful Thoughts and Colours. . . .
Gradually my paid employment became quite stressful as I climbed the ladder of success, so I closed the first two blogs and continued filing my life more or less as it happened.
I love Blogging, I love looking back for the memories, to check when I did something . . . .
I am grateful for this Blog at this sad time. . . . . . so many happy memories to relive . . . . so many new adventures to record . . . . .
Happy Anniversary little Blog. . . . . long may you bring happiness to all who share these jottings, amazement to those who discover you for family history purposes. . . .
I'm glad life is carrying on with support (except for the bank!) Aren't we all lucky to have a wonderful hobby to keep us occupied, when our minds need a rest from outside things? Keep busy and I'm glad you can look back with joy and sadness at all your blog posts. Take care and God Bless. I hope Friday was not too bad! Silly thing to say isn't it? I hope you understand what I mean.

Happy blogaversary Christine, like you I had another blog that I recorded anything and everything patched around lots of random art, it was only when I commited my time as a DT that I concentrated on this one more, I think i'd have been celebrating a good 10 years or more if i'd stayed with the first.. not to worry we bloggers are still here and that's something to embrace and rejoice.
ReplyDeleteI hope you are keeping that smile going.. Sunday Hugs Tracey xx
